On this Album Review on Blogger I will be reviewing a classic British album which was released on the 22nd August 1994 from a Trip hop band Called Portishead with their debut album Dummy.

Portishead are a British band from Bristol they were formed in 1991. They are considered as one of the pioneers in the Trip hop genre. This is Portishead debut album which is called Dummy which was released on 22nd August 1994. This was the album that went on to win the 1995 Mercury music prize which in my opinion was well deserved for them to win it since this was the first band from the Trip hop genre to win the Mercury prize. I first discovered Portishead from the song Sour times which was played on the radio. The production of the track Sour times reminded me of another trip hop group called Massive Attack. Massive Attack and Portishead are two of the famous Trip hop groups from the 90s.

This debut album from Portishead its a very interesting album and quite special actually because the sounds and the production sounds like a relaxed album for a fan who just wants to relax and listen to some great Trip hop music.  It's such a fantastic album the production is amazing I often listen to this album non stop. Beth's voice in this album is phenomenal she has an outstanding voice in all of the tracks on this album.

My favourite Tracks on this album are Mysterons, Sour times, It could be sweet,Numb and Biscuit.Out of all of these 5 favourite tracks of mine from the album I really love the song It could be sweet because I love the sounds and the production it sounds chilled and relaxed and it makes me want to dance to this relaxing song. I do not have a least favourite track.

Overall I loved this album so much. This album means a lot to me it's one of my favourite albums of all time. I would definitely listen to it again. Overall its a 10/10

My Second album review on Blogger will be an album from an American Pop Rock band which was released this year. Which is Haim second album called Something to tell you.

Haim are an American Pop Rock band from Los Angeles. The band consists of three sisters Este Haim, Danielle Haim, and Alana Haim. This is the band Second studio album which was released this year on July 7th 2017. I first discovered Haim from their 2012 EP Forever which was an interesting EP the tracks were good on that EP when I first heard it in 2012. In 2013 they released their debut album which was an album which I thought was okay. But however 4 years later they release their second album called Something to tell you. I quite enjoyed listening to this album some of the tracks sounded like a 90s  tempo rock track from the day for example Nothing's wrong,  and You never knew are example of the tracks from the album that has a similar 90s tempo.

When I first found out that Haim were releasing a second album I felt really pleased seeing the news that their second album was going to be released. When Haim released their first single Want you back I could not stop listening to how this track is so good their voices in this track is amazing especially Alana.
My least favourite track on this album is Right now I just wasn't a fan of this track I wasn't fan of the production on this track. However one of my favourites on this album is Want you back,Nothings wrong and Found it in silence. I really love the track Found it in Silence the build up of the track sounds really good The production sounds amazing its about them finding Someone who is honest in a new relationship suggesting that finding someone better.

Overall this album is fantastic I perfered this album than their first one I would defintley listen to it again. Overall its a 7/10.

My First Album Review on Blogger will be the album which was released 4 years ago in 2013 AlunaGeorge Body Music.

AlunaGeorge are a British Electronic Pop duo from London this is their debut album which was released on the 26th July 2013  They have made great songs from their debut album Body Music example of these great songs are Your Drums Your love, Attracting Flies, You know you like it, Kaleidoscope Love.

I first discovered AlunaGeorge music on a Television programme called Waterloo Road one of the songs from their debut album was played in one of the episodes from Waterloo Road at the time. The song that was played which was the first song I heard from them was Attracting Flies. I immediately loved that song the production on Attracting flies is amazing George has done an amazing production on that track.
The other tracks which made the album more interesting by playing a couple on the radio were You know you like it, Your drums Your love and of course Attracting flies.
Moving on to my other favourite tracks in this album were Your drums your love Kaleidoscope love and best be believing the production in these tracks are amazing especially in best be believing the
track  sounds like it gives the fans a joyful mood just like myself.

My least favourite track from this album was Diver I just found this track a bit weird the way it starts sounds a bit weird I just wasn't a fan of that track  but Overall I think AlunaGeorge Debut album is really good  I would definitely listen to it again Overall it is an 8/10
