My Top 10 Worst Songs Of 2017

My Top 10 Worst Songs Of 2017
Despite this is an album review blog I will be doing a Top 10 of songs which I thought were awful this year.

10) Jason Derulo Swalla featuring Nicki Minaj Ty Dolla Sign
At number 10 we have 'Jason Derulo' with "Swalla". This song is pure annoying the collaboration is awful. The production is awful. It's such a shame on how 'Jason Derulo' music has changed. Back in 2010 he used to be a great artist now his career has gone down.

9) Migos Motorsport featuring Cardi B Nicki Minaj
At number 9 we have Migos with Motorspot featuring Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj. I dont have a problem with this track It's okay but I just dont like Migos mumbling all the time. Nicki Minaji rapping was just shit. Cardi B was decent on this track. Just not big fan of this track. I do not see myself playing this track over and over again.

8) Liam Payne Strip That Down featuring Quavo
At number 8 it's one of the artists I do not really listen to. The song "Strip That Down" is a huge disappointment. It's boring and it's awful it makes me want to go to sleep. 'Quavo' was alright on the track. Overall the track doesn't do much.

7) Taylor Swift Look What You Made Me DO
At number 7 it's Taylor Swift. Which Im not really big fan of her. I dont have much to say about this song other than it's terrible.

6) Jaden Smith Icon
At number 6 we have a track from an untalented rapper. "Jaden Smith". Who started his career with the song "Never Say Never" featuring Justin Bieber. Which I thought was a hideous track.  But this track "Icon" is a dreadful mess he's flows are not that good he's rapping isn't at it's best.

5) J Balvin Mi Gente featuring Willy William
At number 5 we have the Reggaeton song the most stupidest song of 2017. This song is pure shit. The production is awful. I do not understand how anyone can like this.

4) David Guetta 2 U featuring Justin Bieber
At number 4 the most laziest song produced by a lazy producer "David Guetta". This song is just awful. Guetta practically ripped of Martin Garrix drop in the middle of the track. Not a big fan of Bieber's vocals.

3) Steff london Ding a Ling featuring Skepta
At number 3 we have a talented female rapper with an annoying song. This song is annoying. It simply has no meaning.

2) Lil Pump Gucci Gang
At number 2 we have the most annoying song from an annoying rapper. This song is one of the most pointless songs of 2017. All he says is "Gucci Gang" on repeat. This is just pure shit. He sounds completely retarded when he says "Gucci Gang"

1) Charli XCX I Got It
At number 1 it's Charli XCX I Got It. For me this song was one of the worst Charli XCX songs of her career. The collaboration on this track was awful. It's such a shame since I do like her music. Her vocals on this track was repetitive and annoying.

At number 10 we have an interesting song from 'French Montana'. It's a great song despite I have never really been a fan of his music. But I can say that this is one of his best songs. I really like the chorus part on the track "You are Unforgettable". Great song. I also prefer his other song with 'Steff London' "Hurtin Me". Overall "Unforgettable" is a great song.

9) Louis Tomlinson Back To You Featuring Bebe Rexha
At number 9 we have a debut track from 'Louis Tomlinson' featured with 'Bebe Rexha'. "Back To You". I really enjoyed the production on the track. I love the piano part when 'Bebe' sings "You Stress me down". Really great track.

8) Harry Styles Sign Of The Times
At number 8 we have an interesting track from a great artist 'Harry Styles'. I was shocked finding out that Harry Styles has talent. This song is fantastic it sounds like a 70's pop rock.

7) Cardi B Bodak Yellow
At number 7 it is the summer song of the year. "Bodak Yellow". which is a decent song, Her rapping is great on this track. "Bitch you can't fuck with me if you wanted to". Such a great starter for the track. She is one of the best female  rappers in the game.

6) Big Shaq Man's Not Hot
At number 6 it was the most entertaining song of the year. "Man's Not Hot". This song is one of the funniest songs of the year. This song has become an obsession from fans from around the world. I love the part when shaq goes "The Ting goes skraaa". Big Shaq is also known as the comedian 'Michael Dapaah'.

5) Calvin Harris Feels featuring Big Sean Pharell Williams Katy Perry

4) Lana Del Rey Lust For Life featuring The Weeknd
At number 4 we have the beautiful and talented "Lana Del Rey" with the track "Lust For Life" which is also taken from the name of her new album. "The Weeknd" is featured on this track. Fantastic collaboration with some smooth pop. The production on this track is excellent.

3) Camila Cabello Havana
At number 3 is the most cutest artist in the pop industry "Camila Cabello". Her song "Havana" is simply a beautiful song. Her vocals are so cute. She describes her country's capital Havana in a song about how half of her heart is still loved in Havana

2) Kendrick Lamar Humble
At number 2 we have one of current favourite rappers right now. "Humble" was a comeback track for Kendrick since he had a year break. This song is fantastic I loved the production on this track. Kendrick's lyrics is just too good. It's one of the strongest tracks on the album "Damn".

1) Ed Sheeran Perfect
At number 1 we have one of the most popular artists in today's pop music. "Ed Sheeran" "Perfect". It's one of the best pop songs of 2017. It is one of the best songs out there being played on commercial radio. This is one of my favourite Ed's songs from his new album "Divide". I respect Ed as an artist I think he makes great music his songs are too good. They has not been a song which I thought was disappointing. Perfect is one of the best songs out there.

My Top 10 Worst Albums Of 2017

My Top 10 Worst Albums Of 2017
Despite 2017 has been a great year of music. There were some albums that I thought were terrible. Without further a do I countdown the Top 10 Worst Albums Of 2017.

10 Chip League Of My Own II
Image result for chip league of my own 2

At number 10 we have one of North London's 'Grime' artist 'Chip'. As you may know I am not a fan of 'Chip'. I was a fan when he was 'Chipmunk' back in 2009. He released his debut album 'I Am Chipmunk' which was a fantastic debut album with pop hip hop on this album. Sadly he didn't want to continue being mainstream so he made some shit mixtapes and a shit album released this year. I really didn't like this album I thought it was horrendous due to the production.

9) Niall Horan Flicker
Image result for niall horan flicker

At number 9 we have the worst 'Folk' album of the year by a boring Irish singer 'Niall Horan' famously known as a member of the boy band 'One Direction'. Since 'One Direction' broke up all of the members are doing their own thing with their solo careers. Since hearing this album I thought to myself  'Niall' is really embarrassing the genre of 'Folk'. I have 2 words to say for this album 'FUCKING AWFUL'.

8) Demi Lovato Tell Me You Love Me
Image result for Demi Lovato Tell Me You Love Me

At number 8 it's one of the most popular artists in the 'Pop' industry 'Demi Lovato'. Who returns with a dreadful album . I think "Confident" is a much better album than "Tell Me You Love Me". The only song I like on this album is "Sexy Dirty Love". I have nothing much to say about this album other than its terrible.

7) Nickleback Feed The Machine
Image result for feed the machine

At number 7 we have one of the most hated bands in the world 'Nickleback'. They are hated due to the fact the music has changed from 'Pop', to 'Hard Rock'. This album is dreadful. I really cannot stand the heavy rock guitar sound on this album its too aggressive for fuck sake. This is one of Nickleback's worst albums.

6) Arcade Fire Everything Now
Image result for arcade fire everything now

At number 6 we have a band that I do not listen to that much but I have heard their previous albums. And the new album released this year I was hugely disappointed since it was different new sound to them. I really like the song "Everything Now". It has some 70s disco influence to it. It sounds exactly like Abba. I was really pleased with the song. But suddenly the production of the other tracks on the album became worse and worse.

5) DJ Khaled Grateful
Image result for dj khaled grateful

At number 5 we have a fat prick  This album is terrible the collaboration on some tracks were awful like the song "Im The One". I only liked 'Chance The Rapper' verse on the track. And the song "Wild Thoghts" was an awful song. This is dreadful 'THE FAT FUCKING PRICK SHOUTS HIS FUCKING NAME IN EVERY FUCKING TRACK'. This is fucking awful.

4) Maroon 5 Red Pill Blues
Image result for maroon 5 red pill blues
At number 4 we have a band that used to be good back in the day now they have gone shit. This has to be one of the worst album covers I have ever seen. I dont even know what happen to this band. Back in the day they were good now they have become worse with pop mainstream hitting them. The only track I like is the track "What Lovers Do" which is featured the beautiful amazing singer "SZA".

3) Migos Culture
Image result for migos culture

At number 3 we have a trap group which I am not a big fan of. I find these guys annoying with their auto tune mumbling voices. I haven't got much to say about this album. I respect that younger people like them. But it's not my type of music.

2) The Chainsmokers Memories Do Not Open
Image result for chainsmokers memories do not open

At number 2 we have an electronic duo who I despise. They are famous known for their hits "Closer","Selfie", "Paris", "Don't Let Me Down" and many more. 'The Chainsmokers' are just idiots and are lazy due to the fact they use the same drop over over again in their tracks. These guys have ruined Electronic music. This album is terrible with terrible collaboration. The only track I liked was the track "Something Just Like This".

1) Taylor Swift Reputation
Image result for reputation
At number 1 it's Taylor Swift's new album "Reputation". This album is dreadful. It's a mixture of pop and smooth ballads. The smooth ballads tracks were much better than pop EDM tracks. I despise the track "Look What You Made Me Do". It's such an annoying track with the production  being repetitive. The only track I liked on her album was a track called "New Year's Day" such a smooth ballad track. Overall this album was terrible.

Related image

At number 18 it's St. Vincent Masseduction. This is a great album which I personally prefer her new album than her 'Self-Titled' which was released back in 2014. 3 Years later she comes back with a masterpiece. There are some beautiful ballads on this album such as 'Happy Birthday Johnny", "New York", "Young Lover". It's a mixture of 'Synth-Pop', 'New Wave', 'Ambient Rock', and 'Electro Pop'. There was one track on the album which sounded like it was from the 80s. Very interesting album.

17) Reggie N Bollie Uncommon Favours
Uncommon Favours

At number 17 we have the Afro-Beat duo from Ghana. 'Reggie N Bollie'. I thought it was about time we had an Afro-Beat album this year. Since it's one of the genres that deserves more attention. I thought this album was fantastic. This album was well produced. This is more of a party album to get all prepared for dancing with some banging Afro-Beat tunes. I enjoyed the tracks "Good Vibes", "On The Floor", "Toast N Party" and many more. Definitely a great album. One of my favourite Afro-Beat albums right now.

16) Father John Misty Pure Comedy
Image result for pure comedy

At number 16 it's 'Josh Tillman' aka 'Father John Misty'. He is back with his third album "Pure Comedy". This album is fantastic. Some would say that this isn't his best album which I agree but it is still a decent 'folk' album. Josh's vocals is a mixture of 'Billy Joel to 'Elton John'. My favourite Father John Misty album is his second studio album called "I Love You HoneyBear". Some would say that "Pure Comedy" is a boring album to listen to. Which on the other hand it isn't.

15) Bjork Utopia
Image result for bjork utopia

At number 15 it's one of my favourite female artists 'Bjork'. She is back after 2 years since the release of her eighth studio album "Vulnicura". She is back with an interesting album. I really enjoyed 'Bjork' playing the flute in some tracks on this album.

14) Dizzee Rascal Raskit
Image result for raskit

At number 14 it's one of my favourite artists I have been a fan since I was 9 years old it's 'Dizzee Rascal'. He is back with his sixth studio album called "Raskit". His last album "The Fifth" was a huge disappointment since I did not really like it. It was more of a pop main-stream album. When I found out that 'Dizzee' was going to come back I was excited to see what he was going to come up with. Since hearing this album I was really pleased that 'Dizzee' finally managed to make a 'Grime' album.

13) Lorde Melodrama
Image result for lorde melodrama

At number 13 we have another great album from a talented young artist from 'New Zealand'. 'Lorde' returns with her second album called "Melodrama". This is a fantastic album. Lorde is back with a powerful successful album. There are some great tracks on this album such as "Green Light", "Homemade Dynamite", "Perfect Places" and many more. I prefer this album than her 2013 debut "Pure Heroine".

12) Haim Something To Tell You
Image result for haim something to tell you

At number 12 we have a great Indie girl band from 'Los Angeles' They are a trio band consists of three sisters 'Este Haim', 'Alana Haim' and 'Danielle Haim'. I have been a fan of the trio since their debut album was released back in 2013 "Days Are Gone" which I thought was a pretty solid debut album. 4 years later they are back with their second album "Something To Tell You" I really loved this album I thought it was better than their debut. It has a mixture of 90s rock and a bit of 70s rock.

11) Stormzy Gang Signs & Prayer
Image result for gang signs and prayer

At number 11 it's "Stormzy" debut album "Gang Signs & Prayer". This is a fantastic debut album with great tracks such as 'Blinded By Your Grace Pt1 Pt 2', 'Return Of The Rucksack',
'First Things First' 'Cigarettes & Cush' and many more. This is an album with mixture of                  'Grime',  and 'Gospel'. This is a great album definitely one of the biggest albums in the 'Grime'              scene. This is a masterpiece and will always be remembered in the next few years.

10) Ed Sheeran Divide

Image result for divide

At number 10 we have one of the biggest albums of the year in the pop music industry. It is Ed's third album "Divide Despite this is Ed's second best album. I personally think "X" is better than "Divide". "Divide" had some great chart topping hits such as "Perfect", "Shape Of You", "Castle On The Hill", "Galway Girl" and many more. Definitely worth the listen for all the Ed Sheeran fans. Really great Pop ballads.

9) Loyle Carner Yesterday's Gone
Image result for loyle carner yesterday's gone

At number 9 it's 'Loyle Carner' debut album "Yesterday's Gone". This album has elements of old school 'Hip Hop' which in my opinion the old 'Hip Hop' was great in the good old days. 'Loyle Carner' demonstrates how old school hip hop should sound in 2017. I enjoyed on how the tracks has meaning to family and love. Really good album. 'Loyle Carner' is one of the best MC's in the game right now.

8) Wilkinson Hypnotic
Image result for wilkinson hypnotic

At number 8 we have 'Wilkinson' second album "Hypnotic". As a huge fan of the genre 'Drum N Bass' I was glad that 'Wilkinson' made another great album. Since I really enjoyed his debut album "Lazers Not Included" which was released back in 2013. In the album "Hypnotic" I enjoyed collaborations from great artists such as 'Matt Willis', 'Wretch 32' 'Boy Matthews', and many more. This is an underrated album which deserves more praise in the 'Drum N Bass' industry.

7) LCD Soundsystem American Dream

Image result for lcd soundsystem american dream

At number 7 it's my second favourite band who have made a 6 year comeback with their brilliant album "American Dream". 'LCD Soundsystem' have been criticised for not being too good in the music scene . Which in my opinion those who criticise them are bunch of dickheads. 'LCD Soundsystem' fourth studio album "American Dream" is a brilliant comeback with mixture of Synth-pop, and a bit of 'David Bowie' influence with bit of 70's rock. The song "Tonite"is one of my favourites on the album. It really demonstrates 80's Synth-pop making a comeback to the scene.

6) Goldie The Journey Man
Image result for goldie the journeyman

At number 6 we have the legend himself the 'Drum N Bass' Godfather 'Goldie'. Returns after a long wait for a new project to be released. This album is fantastic mixture of 'Drum N Bass', 'Brazilian Jazz'and a bit of 'Piano instrumental'. I love the tracks "I Think Of You", "Tomorrow's Not Today","Horizons" and many more. This is the album that is definitely worth the listen if you've been of 'Goldie' for long time or if your a new fan.

5) Sza Ctrl
Image result for sza ctrl

At number 5 it's one of the most talked about artists in the music scene right now. 'Sza'. She released her debut album "Ctrl". One of the most highly anticipated albums of the year. 'Sza' voice is so beautiful when she sings. Really proud of how big she has now become. She deserves it. I really love the collaboration that she done with 'Kendrick Lamar' "Doves In The Wind" such a fantastic track.

4) Lana Del Rey Lust For Life
Image result for lana del rey lust for life

At number 4 we have one of my favourite female artists 'Lana Del Rey' she returns with a much better album than "Ultra Violence". 'Lana Del Rey' voice is so powerful and beautiful at the same time. It sounds like she's from the 50's with her style. I enjoyed "Lust For Life" it's a great album. My favourite song on the album is a song called "Tomorrow Never Came" featuring 'Sean Lennon'. It's such a beautiful underrated song.
3) Jamiroquai Automaton
Image result for jamiroquai automaton

At number 3 it's my favourite band 'Jamiroquai' as they return with their eighth studio album "Automaton". I have been fan of Jamiroquai since I was a little kid. 'Jason Kay' (also known as Jay Kay the lead singer of Jamiroquai) is my idol. I have all of the 'Jamiroquai' Albums I often listen to it everyday when I put on the  albums on my CD player. It has been 7 years since they released "Rock Dust Light Star" which I thought was an okay album. Since finding out that they were going to release the new album this year I was excited. Since hearing "Automaton" it's better than "Rock Dust Light Star". "Automaton" has more of a dance influence more of "Daft Punk" type. My favourite tracks on the album were "Hot Property", "Vitamin", "Something  About You", "Carla" and many more. Such a great album I would definitely recommend to listen to it even if you do not know who 'Jamiroquai' are.

2) Kendrick Lamar Damn

Image result for kendrick lamar damn

At number 2 we have one of my favourite current rappers right now 'Kendrick Lamar'. He returns with his fourth album "Damn". Despite this album is not better than "To Pimp A Butterfly" which we all know that "To Pimp A Butterfly" is a classic and one of Kendrick's best album. I really like the production on this album it was well produced. I enjoyed the collaboration on some of the tracks on the album 'U2', 'Rihanna', and many more. My favourite track on the album is "Fear" I loved how the track is well produced. Such a great album.

1) Sampha Process
Image result for sampha process

And finally at number 1 the best album of 2017 is 'Sampha' "Process", I enjoyed this album a lot. This is quite an emotional album. The track "No One Knows Me Like The Piano" is a smooth pop ballad dedicated to his mother. It's an emotional track. This is 'Sampha' debut album and it shows that this is one of the strongest debut albums in the "R&B" industry. Sampha produced a fantastic album. I am so proud that he won the mercury prize for best album in the UK. He is a fantastic song writer/Vocalist/Producer. This is a must listen album if your big fan of "R&B".
