Teyana Taylor KTSE Cover Art.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new Teyana Taylor album which was released on the 22nd June 2018. It's the second studio album by Teyana Taylor called "K.T.S.E".

Teyana Taylor is an American recording artist, actress, dancer, and a model from Harlem. Who released her new album this year. An 8 track album as part of Kanye's summer album series. Since Kanye West produced this album and artists like Nas, Pusha T. And of course his eighth studio album 'ye'. And his duo with Kid Cudi 'Kids Sees Ghost' album which I will review that another time. Teyana was signed to a record deal with Pharrell Williams Star Trak Entertainment. She made her first appearance on MTV My's Super Sweet 16. Back in 2012 she was signed to Kanye's record label 'Good Music'. Teyana has worked and written with other artists like Usher, Chris Brown, and Omarion. She has her own reality TV show on VH1 'Teyana And Iman'. alongside her husband NBA player Iman Shumpert. Teyana Taylor influences are 'Lauryn Hill', 'Stevie Wonder', 'Janet Jackson' and 'Michael Jackson'. Teyana has released two albums. Her debut album "VII". which was released back in 2014 4 years ago. Which I thought was a decent debut album and some decent collaboration from Chris Brown, and Pusha T. Which now bring us to her new album "K.T.S.E" which stands for "Keep That Same Energy". 4 years later she is back with her new album.

Before I tell you what I think of her album let's go through track by track on what I thought of each tracks on the album. The opening track "No Manners" which is a short track I liked the violins intro on the first track. I like the backing male vocalist on this track. Teyana vocals were alright on this track it's repetitive. The second track "Gonna Love Me" beautiful vocals from Teyana. Beautiful love song. Fantastic bass on this track. The third track "Issues/Hold On" which I thought was decent track it sounds like Kanye brining back the 2005 era of his production on this track. Her vocals were decent. The fourth track "Hurry" which I thought was decent collaboration with Teyana and Kanye. Just not to keen on this track I didn't really like the moaning sounds on that track I thought it was very weird. The fifth track "3Way" Not to keen on it as well it's not that bad. The sixth track "Rose In Harlem" great track her vocals are amazing definteley one of the strongest on the album. The seventh track "Never Would Have Made It" another good track that I liked its well produced I love her vocals on this one. The last track "WTP" Didn't really like much of the production her vocals were alright. My favourite tracks are "Gonna Love Me", "Rose In Harlem", "Never Would Have Made It". My least favourite track is "Hurry". After hearing her new album what did I think of it? I thought it was alright it's okay it would been better if the album was much more longer more than 8 tracks. She does have a great voice. It's an okay album. Still an okay album

Overall I thought this album was okay. I would listen to it again. I am giving the album a 6/10.

God's Favorite Customer.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new Father John Misty album which was released on the 1st June 2018. 3 months ago. It's the fourth studio album by Father John Misty called "God's Favourite Customer".

Father John Misty also known as Josh Tillman is a singer, songwriter from Rockville Maryland. Who I have been fan of for quite some time. Since his 2015 album was released "I Love You, Honeybear" I became a fan of his music. It's my favourite Father John Misty album. "I Love, You Honeybear" is a masterpiece of an album such a brilliant album. Josh Tillman is also known as a former member of 'Fleet Foxes'. Discussing more about his career he moved to Seattle when he was 21 where he got a job working as a bakery. Which allowed him to record at night before his early morning shift 4:30 am. He eventually made a demo which found it's way to Seattle singer, songwriter 'Damien Jurado'. A year later he was the opening act for Jurado. In 2012 he released his debut album "Fear Fun" under his new moniker "Father John Misty" he has released albums with other names like "J. Tillman". He is widely more known as 'Father John Misty' and more widely known as the drummer for the 'Fleet Foxes'. Discussing about his discography he has released four studio albums. His debut album "Fear Fun" which is a great debut album. I liked his debut it's a strong Indie Folk, Indie Rock album. His second studio album "I Love You, Honeybear" My favourite Father John Misty album I love it. His third album "Pure Comedy" which is an amazing album it was in my Top 20 Best albums Of 2017 list. "Pure Comedy" is my second favourite Father John Misty album. A year later he releases his fourth studio album "God's Favourite Customer". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? I thought it was a good album. It's a good album but I much prefer "Pure Comedy".

Let's go through track by track on the album on what I thought of every tracks. The opening track "Hangout At The Gallows" which I thought was a great opening track to the album. His vocals really does sound a young Elton John. I love the guitars on this track.  The next track "Mr  Tillman" I thought it was this kind of mid 80s rock vibe which I thought was alright. I love the whistling part on the track. The next track "Just Dumb Enough To Try" it's decent it really does remind of Elton John. The fourth track "Date Night" which is my least favourite I think it's the weakest on the album. "Please Don't Die" which I thought one of the strongest tracks on the album. "The Palace" I love the piano melody on this track it's really calmful. "Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest Of Them All" It's a decent track. "God's Favourite Customer" another decent track which I thought was alright. "The Songwriter" quite a sad piano melody quite a smooth low track. "We're Only People (And There's Not Much Anyone Can Do About That)" it's decent I quite like the drums on this track his lyrics are interesting. My favourite tracks overall are "Hangout At The Gallows", "Mr. Tillman", "Please Don't Die", "The Palace", and "Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest Of Them All". My least favourite is "Date Night".

Overall I liked this new Father John Misty album but I much prefer "Pure Comedy". I would listen to it again. I am giving the album a 7/10.

Least Favourite Track: Stretch

On this review I will be reviewing the new Proclaimers album which was released on 10th August last month. It's their eleventh studio album by 'The Proclaimers' called "Angry Cyclist".

The Proclaimers are a Scottish folk, rock duo of two twin identical brothers 'Charlie Reid', and 'Craig Reid'. They are best known for their hit "I'm Gonna Be(500 Miles)", "Sunshine On Leith", "I'm On My Way", and "Letter From America". Their singing style with a strong Scottish accent. The pair came to public when an Inverness based fan sent their demo to an English band called "The Housemartins" who liked them and invited 'The Proclaimers' on their UK tour. They appeared on a Channel 4 music show called 'The Tube'. I am not a big fan of them I only like two of their songs "Im Gonna Be (500 Miles)" and "I'm On My Way" From the 80s/90s they have released good songs. The Proclaimers first US television debut was on the David Letterman show where they performed "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)". Discussing about their discography they have released eleven studio albums. I have only heard few of their albums not all of them. They have released albums like "This Is The Story", "Sunshine On Leith" which is one of the albums I have heard. I thought it was a good album defintley their best album. "Hit The Highway" another one of the albums I have heard from them I think it's okay it's not better than "Sunshine On Leith". They have released other albums like "Persevere", "Like Comedy" and many more. 3 years later they are back with their eleventh studio album "Angry Cyclist". After hearing "Angry Cyclist" what did I think of it? Im just not to keen on this album if I'm being honest. I just think it's bland it kind of sounds the same if i'm being honest. I just think it's bland and uninteresting. But the track "Streets Of Edinburgh" is defintley the best track on the album. But this album is just bland. Their previous albums from late 80s/90s are much better.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Streets Of Edinburgh" which I thought was a brilliant track on the album. Fantastic track good lyrics great guitars. "You Make Me Happy" which is a decent produced track it's not that bad. And "Information" Which is a mediocre track not a strong track but it's still one of my favourites. My least favourite track "Stretch" I just think it's bland boring this track.

Overall the album was a disappointment. It was a let down. I do not see myself listening to this album again. I am giving the album a 4/10.

Least Favourite Track: Billy Budd

On this review I will be reviewing Morrissey's fourth studio album "Vauxhall And I".

Morrissey aka Steven Patrick Morrissey aka Moz. is a singer, songwriter. Who everybody should know him as the lead singer of 'The Smiths'. For those that may not know I am not a huge Morrissey fan but I do like 'The Smiths'. The Smiths have released good songs like "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", "What Difference Does It Make" (My personal favourite), "This Charming Man", "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One" (My 2nd favourite) And many more. I have never really listened much to Morrissey's discography but I have heard and reviewed his classic debut album 'Viva Hate'. I thought it was a good album since it was my first time listening to it. Majority of the fans regard 'Viva Hate' as his best album. However I heard his recent album released last year "Low In High School" which I thought was a mediocre album. I wasn't too keen on it. The album recieved a lot of negative reviews. It was not Morrissey's best album. Discussing about his fourth album that I heard "Vauxhall And I". I thought it was a good album. But however I much prefer his classic debut album "Viva Hate". From his debut album I like the tracks such as "Suedehead", "Everyday Is Like Sunday", "Late Night, Maudlin Street". The track "Margaret On The Guillotine" which was about during the time where Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister. It was about Margaret being on a guillotine since she recieved a lot of hate during her time as Prime Minister. Discussing more about "Vauxhall And I" I guess it's a great alternative rock album. But I would say 'Viva Hate' is better in my opinion.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Now My Heart Is Full" I thought it was a great track I love how the track starts it kind of has that 80s rock vibe. "Hold On To Your Friends" quite an interesting track I would say it's my personal favourite on the album it's well produced. I love the guitars on this track. "The Lazy Sunbathers" I like the guitars on this track. Very interesting lyrics on this track it's okay I guess. My least favourite track is "Billy Budd" it's not a bad track just not my favourite on the album but it's still a decent track.

Overall I thought this was a good Morrissey album but I prefer his debut album. 8/10.

Gabrielle Under My Skin Cover.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Gabrielle' which was released last month on the 17th August 2018. It's the comeback album it's the sixth studio album by 'Gabrielle' called "Under My Skin".

Gabrielle is an English singer, songwriter who I have been a fan of since her 1993 single "Dreams". I am so glad that she is back after 11 years since her last album was released. Wow I can't believe it's been that long. I am so happy she is back. The first album I ever bought from Gabrielle was "Rise" her third studio album which is my favourite 'Gabrielle' album. Gabrielle is a talented singer which defined the early 90s music. It's really an exciting year to see her back making music. Gabrielle has won several awards such as 2 Brit Awards for Best British Breakthrough and Best British Female. She has also won an Ivor Novello for Outstanding Song Collection. She truly deserved to win those awards. She is a great artist who has been making music since the 90s. It's just fantastic to see 'Gabrielle' back. She's really talented she has a beautiful voice. Discussing more about Gabrielle in 1993 she released her debut single "Dreams". The single reached number 1 in the UK chart which was number for 3 weeks. In the Bilboard Hot 100 it entered at number 26 and at number one on the Bilboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Discussing about her discography she has released six studio albums. Her debut album "Find Your Way" a fantastic R&B album. A strong R&B debut album I love it. Her second studio album "Gabrielle" which is self-titled. another great album it was more Pop and R&B together. Her third album "Rise" my favourite 'Gabrielle' album such a great album defintley her best album. So many great singles on that album "Sunshine", "When A Woman", "Rise" and many more. Her fourth album "Play To Win" it's an alright album not my favourite album but it's alright. Her fifth studio album "Always" which is a good album quite an underrated album in my opinion. Which now brings us to her new album "Under My Skin" 11 years later I can't believe it's been this long. After hearing her new album what did I think of it? I am amazed how she came back after 11 years. It's a fantastic beautiful album. She still sounds the same it's just great she still makes music. She delivers a beautiful smooth R&B album on this one.

My favourite tracks on the album are starting with "Under My Skin", a beautiful smooth voice that Gabrielle delivers on this track. "Show Me" beautiful vocals I am glad it was released as a single it's so beautiful. "Every Step" defintley her underrated track on the album. Her vocals are so beautiful makes you want to relax. "Stronger" defintley my overall favourite on the album it's really good I love the backing vocals on this track. "Put Up A Fight" quite has this rock pop vibe which I think is a decent track. "Breathe" Another underrated track such a beautiful track. My least favourite track is "Young And Crazy" not to keen on this track but it's not that bad just not my favourite.

Overall a brilliant comeback. It's great to see Gabrielle back.Great album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Paul McCartney the legend himself famously known as the singer from 'The Beatles'. Who has had a great career in over 6 decades. Paul is defintley one of the greatest songwriters of all time. McCartney is one of the most successful composers and performers of all time. Paul has won 18 Grammys. McCartney is one of the most wealthiest musicians in the world with an estimated net of 1.2 billion. Discussing more about Paul McCartney I am a Paul McCartney I think he has released some great solo studio albums. My favourite studio albums from Paul are "Tug Of War", "Flaming Pie", "Memory Almost Full", "McCartney II" and many more. My favourite Beatles album is "Abbey Road". From the 'Wings' I have never really listened much to 'Paul McCartney & Wings" but I like the song "Band On The Run". Discussing more about Paul's career at the age of 15 Paul met John Lennon from his band 'The Quarrymen'. 'The Quarrymen' played a mix of Rock N Roll, and Skiffle. Skiffle which is a music genre of Jazz And Blues. McCartney joined 'The Quarrymen' to play as a rhythm guitarist and he formed a close working relationship with John Lennon. Discussing about The Beatles they are one of best bands of the 60s. The Beatles will always be a fantastic band. The Beatles have released so many great albums like "Abbey Road", "Please Please Me", "With The Beatles", "A Hard Day Night", "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and many more. Discussing about his solo albums he has released 18 studio albums he has released albums like "McCartney", "Ram", "McCartney II", "Tug Of War", "Pipes Of Peace", "Give My Regards To Broad Street", "Flaming Pie", "New" and many more. Which now brings us to his new album "Egypt Station". His 18th studio album. After hearing "Egypt Station" what do I think of it? I thought it was an okay album. It's not that bad. Paul still has it. He delivers a good piano ballad and a bit of country album. It's an okay album. Despite I wouldn't say it's his best album but it's slightly better than his 2013 album "New".

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "I Don't Know" which I thought was a fantastic track I really love Paul's guitar on that track such an amazing track. "Come On To Me" which is an amazing track it's like the 70s over again. Defintely a strong track on the album it's freaking amazing. I love the part where Paul says 'Yes I Will Yes I Will Yes I Will Now". "People Want Peace" which I thought was a smooth piano ballad song I liked the violins on the track. "Back In Brazil" defintley the best track on the album. It's such an amazing track I love the Bossa Nova vibes on this track. "Hunt You Down/Naked/C-Link" It kind of reminds me of a track by 'War called "Low Rider". it sounds decent. My least favourite track is "Fuh You" which I thought was a disappointing and weird track.

Overall I thought this album was okay it's decent. I would listen to it again. I am giving the album a 6/10.

David Guetta 7 Album Review

Least Favourite Tracks: Don't Leave Me Alone, Say My Name, Goodbye, Like I Do, 2U, Motto, Light Headed,
David Guetta - 7 (album cover).jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new David Guetta album which was released yesterday on the 14th September 2018. It's the seventh studio album by David Guetta called "7".

David Guetta is a French DJ, Producer, and Remixer who used to be good back in the early 2000s now he became shit. He became shit from 2011 and is still shit to this day. I seriously do not know WHAT THE FUCK! happened to this guy. As you know I am not a fan of David Guetta I think his music is awful. I was a fan of his music when he first started. Now this idiot is getting worser and worser. Like seriously David Guetta is not that good anymore. I think he needs to retire he will not make great music like he did from 2002. He is among the first DJS. to get into the EDM Scene he is known as the Grandfather of EDM. David Guetta began as a DJ at the Broad Club in Paris. He first played popular songs and he discovered house music when he heard a Farley Jackmaster Funk track on the radio. In 2001 he founded 'Gum Productions' along with Joachim Garraud. Discussing about his discography. He has released seven studio albums. His debut album "Just A Little More Love" it's his good album. Defintley one of his best albums. Great tracks like "Just A Little More Love", "Love Don't Let Me Go", "Give Me Something (Deep In My Heart)", "Atomic Food", "133". His second studio album "Guetta Blaster" another good album from Guetta. Great tracks like "Money", "Stay", "Time", "In Love With Myself", "Movement Girl", "Get Up", "Last Train". His third album "Pop Life" which I think is an average album. Some decent tracks such as "Delirious", "Winner Of The Game", "Do Something Love", "Joan Of Arc". His fourth studio album "One Love" the last Guetta album. The last good Guetta album that he ever made. The tracks that I liked are "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin Over", "Memories", "Choose", "How Soon Is Now", "One Love". His fifth studio album "Nothing But The Beat" he goes full pop on this album. It's an awful album. Very boring album he goes full mainstream on "Nothing But The Beat". His sixth studio album "Listen" another boring album. Really boring with boring EDM Sounds. Which now brings us to his new album "7". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? So basically it's a double album. CD 1 is the boring mainstream shit. and CD 2 has some decent techno, house, trance production. I think CD 2 is much better than CD 1. CD 2 is much better. I liked how in CD 2 he goes back to his House roots. I wish he still make great music like he did from 2002. Overall it's a bad album. It would have been better if it wasn't squeaky EDM sounds.

My favourite tracks on the album which are two tracks are "Overtone" which I thought was a strong Guetta track. A great house track. "Orion" a great deep house track. Good production defintley one of his strongest tracks on this album. My least favourite tracks are "Don't Leave Me Alone" featuring Anne Marie. Gosh this production is FUCKING AWFUL. Squeaky shitty EDM sounds. Anne's vocals does not go well little bit annoying. "Say My Name" featuring J Balvin & Bebe Rexha. Why the fuck is 'Reggaeton' still a thing for fuck sake. It's a shit song. "Goodbye" which features 'Jason Derulo', Nicki Minaj, Willy William. boring track. Auto tuned Nicki Minaj. Nicki sounds retarded on this track. "Like I Do" which features Martin Garrix & Brooks. Boring track I do not know why Martin Garrix was featured. "2U" which features Justin Bieber a Fucking terrible track with Bieber's shitty vocals. "Motto" which is autotuned with rappers like Lil Uzi Vert which is awful. "Light Headed" which features Sia very annoying track Sia vocals is annoying on this track.

Overall I thought this album was bad. but CD 2 was better than CD 1. I would not listen to it again. I am giving this album a 2/10.

Eminem Kamikaze Album Review

Eminem Kamikaze Album Review
Rating: 5/10
Favourite Tracks: The Ringer, Kamikaze, Good Guy
Least Favourite Track: Fall
A painting of the rear end of a jet with graffiti about Eminem on it. It is very similar to the artwork of the debut album of Beastie Boys, Licensed to Ill.

On this review I will be reviewing the new Eminem album which was released on the 31st August 2018. It's the tenth studio album by Slim Shady himself called "Kamikaze".

Eminem aka Marshall Mathers is a rapper from Detroit. Which everybody knows who he is. He has been in the scene since the 90s. Back in the early 2000s he was dominating the charts with fantastic flows with tracks such as "Without Me", "Stan", "We Made You", "Like Toy Soliders", "Mockingbird" and many more. Now the time has come where he is not that good as he used to be. He has completely changed he's not the same person anymore. I grew up with his music. I do not really listen to him that much. Back in primary school I used to listen to him a lot. But now I do not listen to him that much. However I listen to a few songs like "Lose Yourself", "Without Me", "My Name Is", "Stan" and many more. I feel that Eminem is at the stage now where nobody cares about him anymore. He's at the stage where he's not the same as he was back in the 2000s. I personally think Eminem career is finished. He cannot make another great album like seriously he should just retire. His last good album was "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" released 5 years ago back in 2013 which is a much better album than 'Revival' and 'Kamikaze'. Discussing about his discography he has released 10 studio albums. His debut album "Infinite" which most Eminem fans would probably not care much about his debut album. It was the start of his carrer. Not my favourite album but they are some tracks that I think are underrated. His second studio album " The Slim Shady LP" I would say it's my favourite Eminem album defintley better than "Infinite". His third studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP" Nearly every Eminem fans would say it's their favourite. It's defintley a classic and a great album. His fourth studio album "The Eminem Show" Another great album from Slim Shady. His fifth studio album "Encore" not my favourite but some tracks were decent. It's probably his weakest. His sixth studio album "Relapse" one of my favourites I would say it's underrated in my opinion. His seventh studio album "Recovery" did not really like this album that much some of the tracks were average it was too mainstream. His eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" A brilliant album Eminem came back delivered a solid album with fantastic flows. His ninth studio album "Revival" which is his worst album it was too mainstream. However they were only few tracks I liked from 'Revival'. Which now a year later he surprised everybody with a surprise album "Kamikaze" What did I think of it? It's slightly better than 'Revival'. I liked how he dissed Mumble Rappers. I am not a fan of Mumble Rappers. I dont think Mumble Rap is real rap. Some tracks were alright. But I did not like how he dissed Tyler The Creator. This album is just average.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "The Ringer" which is a decent track I liked how he dissed Mumble Rappers like 'Lil Pump' and ' Lil Yachty'. "Kamikaze" he proper dissed Drake which I thought it was hilarious since Drake is not releasing not that many good albums anymore. His flows were really good on this track. "Good Guy" featuring Jessie Reyez. I love Jessie's vocals on the track they work well together. My least favourite track is "Fall" I did not like how he dissed Tyler The Creator just because Tyler did not like one of his tracks from last year.

Overall it's average and disappointing. It's better than Revival. I would not listen to it again. It's a 5/10.

"Puberty 2" and "Be The Cowboy". I know Mitski a little bit but I do not know her that well. Discussing about her discography she has released five studio albums. Her debut album "Lush" which was released as an independent album which was self-released. Her second album "Retired From Sad, New Career In Business" her second album which was also self-released. Her third album "Bury Me At Makeout Creek" which was released in her first record label 'Double Double Whammy'. Which is the first album I heard from Mitski I have not heard her first two. It's a decent third album. Her fourth studio album "Puberty 2" another good album it's okay. Which now brings us to her new album "Be The Cowboy" after hearing her new album what did I think of it? Well I thought it was another good album from Mitski she does not disappoint. She delivers an interesting smooth Indie Pop with relaxed piano elements. She reminds me of Lana Del Rey but more Indie Pop.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Geyser" I really like this indie rock track she delivers it very well with her beautiful vocals. "Old Friend" a decent track great production, beautiful smooth indie pop vocals that makes you want to relax. "Me And My Husband" I really love the guitar and piano on this track it's catchy probably my second favourite overall. "Nobody" my overall favourite on the album defintley her strong track on the album. "A Horse Named Cold Air" one of the short tracks on the album which I liked lyrics interesting. "Two Slow Dancers" beautiful track beautiful piano melodys really beautiful. My least favourite track is "Pink In The Night" it's a decent track but not my favourite.

Overall I thought it was a good album. Mitski delivers another good album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 7/10.

Jake Shears Self-titled Album Review

Jake Shears Self-titled Album Review
Rating: 7/10
Favourite Tracks: Good Friends, Big Bushy Mustache, Sad Song Backwards, Everything I'll Ever Need, The Bruiser
Least Favourite Track: Creep City

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album from 'Jake Shears' who's also known as member of the band 'Scissor Sisters'. The album was released this month on the . It's the debut album by Jake Shears which is self-titled.

Jake Shears also known as Jason F. Sellards is an American singer, songwriter from Arizona. He is best known as the lead singer of the alternative rock, indie pop band 'Scissor Sisters'. Whilst I was growing up I enjoyed listening to the 'Scissor Sisters'. Their best known for their hits "I Don't Feel Like Dancing", "Any Which Way", "Fire With Fire", and many more. Whilst the 'Scissor Sisters' have had a great career from the early 2000s they were an interesting band with Nu-Disco, Alternative Rock, and Glam Rock. Jake will always be known as the lead singer of the 'Scissor Sisters'. Despite the band has been on hiatus since 2012. I feel like they will probably be back in the next few years probably 2020. If I had to pick my favourite 'Scissor Sisters' album I would say their second album "Ta-Dah" which has my favourite track on it "I Don't Feel Like Dancing". After 'Scissor Sisters' announced they would go on hiatus. Jake decided to plan his debut album. It took him time to record his debut album. Fans requested that Jake would make his debut album to sound a bit like the 'Scissor Sisters'. In which it did which sounds bit like Scissor Sisters. After hearing his self-titled debut album what did I think of it? Well I thought it was a good album. It's a good start to Jake's career. It's a good album I liked it. I did not expect him to release an album this year. It's a good album I liked it. Really interesting piano melodys it's a joyful album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "Good Friends" which I thought was a decent track with good vocals. "Big Bushy Mustache" It's kind of this rock n roll track which I found interesting groovy and catchy I like it. "Sad Song Backwards" I like this groovy boogie woogie piano which I found quite groovy. "Everything I'll Ever Need" it's an alright track I like it. "The Bruiser" this track is not that bad. It's well produced. My least favourite track is "Creep City" which was a track I did not really like that much not to keen on it.

Overall it's a good album. I would listen to it again. It's a solid debut album. I am giving this album a 7/10.

BTS Love Yourself: Tear Album Review

BTS Love Yourself: Tear Album Review
Rating: 5/10
Favourite Tracks: Fake Love, 134340, Paradise, So What
Least Favourite Track: Magic Shop
Love Yourself Tear Cover.jpeg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from BTS which was released on the 18th May 2018 3 months ago. It's the sixth full length album called "Love Yourself: Tear".

BTS are a K-Pop band from South Korea. They are known as the 'Bangtan Boys' who became a trend over the last years. Which showed K-Pop becoming a success in the United States and even in the UK. In my opinion I am not a fan of K-Pop I think it's an overrated genre. I just do not see the fucking hype of K-Pop. Every girl fans who loves this groups screams loud for no reason they are not even that good no offence. But however they are a few tracks that aren't that bad for example "Blood Sweet & Tears" isn't that bad. "Fake Love is not that bad. I really do not see the hype for BTS. I really don't. They are signed to 'Big Hit Entertainment' record label. And they are also signed with 'Pony Canyon'. I can understand why loads of girls scream for this band probably because of the way they dance in their music videos. I seriously do not understand why doe they are not even that good let's be real. They are not even that good and not interesting. They have become a success worldwide in Korea, Japan, China, USA, UK and many more. However I am not saying all K-Pop songs are bad. they are a few good songs. But it's just not my type of music. It's not my cup of tea. Discussing about their discography they have released six studio albums. They have released albums such as "Dark & Wild", "Wings", "Wake Up", "Youth", "Face Yourself" and of course their new album "Love Yourself: Tear". After hearing their new album "Love Yourself: Tear" what did I think of it? I thought it was average album in my opinion but however they were a few good tracks with K-Pop and rap together which I thought was alright. But the entire album was just a bit to average.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "Fake Love" which I thought was an alright track. Quite catchy it's decent. "134340" I like the funky bass with their rapping it's catchy. "Paradise" this kind of smooth pop track which is decent. "So What" I like the production is decent track is not that bad lyrics are okay. My least favourite track is "Magic Shop" I didn't really like the production on the track not to keen on this track.

Overall I thought this album was average with few good tracks. I would not listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 5/10.

Travis Scott Astroworld Album Review

Travis Scott Astroworld Album Review
Rating: 4/10
Favourite Tracks: Stop Trying To Be God, 5% Tint, Astrothunder
Least Favourite Track: Carousel
Astroworld by Travis Scott.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Travis Scott' which was released this month on the 3rd August 2018. It's the third studio album by 'Travis Scott' called "Astroworld".

Travis Scott is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is also known and still is dating 'Kylie Jenner'. I am not a big fan of Travis Scott. I do not think he has a strong discography. Discussing more about Travis Scott in 2012 he was signed to Epic Records. Travis Scott is one of those rappers who I am not to keen on. I don't think he's the best rapper of this generation not at all. I am just not a fan of Trap Rap if I'm being honest. The critics have been praising this album saying it's one of his best albums in his discography. Some critics do not really like this album. Well my thoughts on this album will be coming very soon. But first let's discuss more about Travis Scott. He stated that he is influenced by 'Kid Cudi', 'M.I.A', 'Kanye West', 'Toro Y Moi', 'Tame Impala', and ' T.I'. Discussing about his discography he has released three studio albums, two mixtapes and a collaborative album with Quavo from Migos in which I thought his collaborative album with Quavo was awful to listen to. His studio albums he has released three albums such as "Rodeo", "Birds In The Trap Sing Mcknight" and of course his new album "Astroworld". After hearing "Astroworld" what did I think of it? This album is not even that good I do not see the hype of this album. It was rubbish. Awful trap rap. It was just bad too many auto tuned.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "Stop Trying To Be God" which features 'James Blake'. I was quite surprised that James Blake would feature on 'Travis Scott's' new album. I am a fan of James Blake and I didn't expect him to be on Travis's album. It's an alright track. "5% Tint" again this track isn't the best but its okay I guess. "Astrothunder" production is alright lyrics should be improved despite too much auto tuned. My least favourite track is "Carousel" this track is pure awful it's not even that good.

Overall this album was bad I do not see the hype of it. Too much auto tuned. I wouldn't listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 4/10.

Death Grips Year Of The Snitch Album Review
Rating: 8/10
Favourite Tracks: Death Grips Is Online, Black Paint, The Horn Section, Shitshow, Streaky, Dilemma, The Fear, Disappointed
Least Favourite Track: Hahaha
Year of the Snitch album cover.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the sixth studio album by 'Death Grips' which was released two months ago on the 22nd June 2018. It's the sixth studio album by 'Death Grips' called "Year Of The Snitch".

Death Grips is an American experimental Hip Hop group from Sacramento, California which was formed in 2010. The group consists of three members. 'MC Ride' also known as Stefan Burnett is the lead singer responsible for vocals. 'Zach Hill' is responsible for the drums, electronic drums, production, keyboards, and programming. 'Andy Morin' is responsible for production, bass guitar, audio engineering, keyboards, and programming. I first discovered 'Death Grips' from a Youtuber Anthony Fantano. Anthony Fantano is a huge 'Death Grips' fan it's his favourite group. The first album I heard from 'Death Grips' was their debut album "The Money Store" Which I thought a great debut album it was really experimental. Im not going to lie I thought it was a bit weird with the weird sounds on their debut album. But after getting to know more about them. They are a great group. Despite it's rare to find an experimental hip hop group. However their style can lead to punk rap. Which now days is becoming a trend to the rap scene. Discussing about their discography they have released six studio albums. Their debut album "The Money Store" which is a fantastic debut album. Defintely their best album. It was released back in 2012. During that time it was something different to music. During 2012 there wasn't really experimental hip hop groups coming out in that year. Their second album "No Love Deep Web" which was released back in 2012 as well. The album was alright Teven though the album cover was weird. Their third album "Government Plates" released back in 2013. Not really my favourite I would say it's my least favourite. Their fourth album "The Powers That B" It was not that bad it was decent. Their fifth album "Bottomless Pit" a great album released back in 2016  really experimental interesting lyrics. It was hardcore. Which now brings us to their new album their sixth album "Year Of The Snitch" 2 years later. After hearing "Year Of The Snitch" what did I think of it? I thought it was another great album they do not dissapoint even though I didn't really like "Government Plates" that much. "Year Of The Snitch" It's a great album another interesting 'Death Grips' album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "Death Grips Is Online" This track is alright the intro is amazing. "Black Paint" it's catchy it's proper hardcore. "The Horn Section" I really like this 1 minute instrumental which I wish should have been longer. It sounds like a video game. "Shitshow" I would probably say it's my favourite from the album overall. It's a freaking great track I love how the drums are speed up with fast tempo. "Streaky" this high pitch sound was weird at the beginning. It's a decent track it's not that bad. "Dilemma" it's not that bad it's okay. "The Fear" I really liked the production on this track it's really different. It's a different style. "Disappointed" another decent track not to keen the noises in the background. My least favourite track is "Hahaha" probably the least favourite on the album production could been better. It's average.

Overall I thought it was a great album from 'Death Grips' I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Amy Shark Love Monster Album Review

Amy Shark Love Monster Album Review
Rating: 6/10
Favourite Tracks: I Said Hi, Leave Us Alone, The Slow Song
Least Favourite Track: I Got You
Love Monster CD by Amy Shark.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album by Australian artist 'Amy Shark'. Her debut album was released on the 13th July 2018. It's the debut album by 'Amy Shark' called "Love Monster".

Amy Shark also known as Amy Louise Billings is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter and producer from the Gold Coast, Queensland. She is best known for her 2016 single "Adore" which was voted number 2 on the Triple J Hottest 100 chart from 2016. I do not know much about Amy since she is a new artist from Australia. Amy grew up on the Gold Coast Queensland, Australia. She has been an active musician on Youtube since 2014. In 2016 Amy won Pop Song Of The Year at the Queensland music awards for her track "Golden Fleece". Which she later embarked on a nationwide tour. Her best known single "Adore" was certified 3X Platinum in Australia. I wish it was popular in the UK. The track "Adore" is also featured on the album that I am reviewing. Discussing about her discography she has released only a debut studio album which was released last month. However she has released an EP last year called "Night Thinker". Discussing about her debut album "Love Monster". After hearing her debut album what did I think of it? Well I thought it was a really interesting album. Despite I don't think it's a strong debut but it's an alright album. I feel like the production on the first tracks wasn't really that good. I feel like production cost the album not to be a great debut album. However it's not bad. I would say it's an alright album. I love her vocals on the album but the production could have been better.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "I Said Hi" which is a decent tracks her vocals are beautiful on this track. I feel like production could have been better.  "Leave Us Alone" which is this beautiful acoustic guitar with beautiful vocals from Amy. "The Slow Song" which I think is an underrated track on the entire album it's great track I liked it probably my overall favourite. My least favourite track was "I Got You" the first track on the album which I thought the track did not really sound accurate. It's just this mediocre production which I am not to keen on. Her vocals are alright.

Overall it's an alright debut album. The production should have at least improved on some tracks. I am giving this album a 6/10.

By the age of 15 he saved up a lot of money from winning piano competitions he decided to buy a professional low-level Roland Synth. where he began creating his first full length electronic compositions. Discussing more about his collaborations. He collaborated with Brian Eno. Which then lead to Brian Eno releasing an album. The album was called "Small Craft On A Milk Sea" which I thought was a great collaboration album. Discussing about Jon Hopkins discography he has released  five studio albums. His debut album "Opalescent" which was released in 2001 is a fantastic solid debut album with electronic and ambient together. His second studio album "Contact Note" released back in 2004 which was a decent album not my favourite from him but it's alright. Those first two albums were released with Just Music record label. His third studio album "Insides" which he released it on another record label 'Domino Records'. His third album "Insides" was released in 2009 he delivers a solid ambient pop album which I liked. His fourth studio album "Immunity" which is an excellent album. It's my favourite album from Jon Hopkins. It was nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2013. It included IDM, Tech House, Microhouse, Ambient. Which now brings us to his fifth studio album "Singularity" after hearing his new album what did I think of it? Another excellent album from Jon. This album is amazing. Defintley an album of the year contender. It will defintley make it into my Top 20 Best Albums Of 2018. I loved how it has beautiful piano melodys. It's a magnificent album. Another masterpiece from Mr Hopkins. It's an excellent album I strongly recommend to listen to his albums if you are interested in relaxing ambient music.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Singularity" I thought it was a decent track. I love the startup and the buildup on the first track. "Emerald Rush" I love the electronic drum pads on this track I thought it was cool  It's catchy it's awesome. "Everything Connected" It's this kind of funky deep hard house vibe which I find very interesting. "C O S M" a relaxing calmful peaceful ambient music with really interesting sounds. "Echo Dissolve" a beautiful piano melody which makes me want to cry which is kind of sad piano song. "Recovery" another beautiful piano melody which I enjoyed and I thought was a good track. My least favourite track was "Neon Pattern Drum" it's alright it's not that bad. It's still sounds good but not my favourite.

Overall I loved this album. I think it's a fantastic album another masterpiece from Jon Hopkins. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 9/10.

Mac Miller Swimming Album Review

Mac Miller Swimming Album Review
Rating: 3/10
Favourite Tracks: What's The Use?, Ladders
Least Favourite Track: Perfecto
Swimmingalbumcover.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album by 'Mac Miller' which was released this month on the 3rd August 2018. It's the fifth studio album by 'Mac Miller' called "Swimming".

Mac miller also known as Malcolm James Mccormick is an American rapper, singer, and a record producer. Mac Miller was dating Ariana Grande from 2013 until 2018 which they broke up this year. I have never really listened to Mac Miller's discography before but I have heard some of his tracks. I do not find anything interested about Mac Miller. He released his first mixtape in 2007 "But My Mackin  Ain't Easy" which is his first mixtape released back in 2007. He started releasing loads of mixtapes which he gained recognition. I first discovered Mac where he was featured in his ex girlfreind music video "The Way" Ariana Grande, featuring Mac Miller. Which was released 5 years ago. Which I thought the track "The Way" was a decent track with Ariana's cute vocals. and Mac's decent flows. They both deliver a decent catchy poppy track. Discussing about his discography I have not really listened to his studio albums despite I only heard his new album "Swimming" released this month. He has released albums such as "Blue Slide Park", "Watching Movies With The Sound Off", "GO:OD AM", "The Divine Feminine" and of course his new album "Swimming". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? I didn't really like it. It's not even that good. His flows are just weak in my opinion. However I liked a few two tracks which has a funky guitar on it with funk elements which I thought was good. But the album is not that good to be honest. His voice is a bit annoying. The album is not even that good.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "What's The Use?" I thought this track is decent I love the funky production on it. His flows could have been bit better if im being honest. "Ladders" I like the funky house production his flows are alright. My least favourite track is "Perfecto" His vocals are really annoying and weird. It sounds like his drunk.

Overall I didn't really like this album. It's not good. I would not listen to it again. I am giving the album a 3/10.

Nicki Minaj Queen Album Review

Nicki Minaj Queen Album Review
Rating: 4/10
Favourite Tracks: Barbie Dreams, Bed, Come See About Me
Least Favourite Track: Chun Swae

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from Nicki Minaj. Which was released this month couple days ago on the 10th August 2018. It's the fourth studio album by Nicki Minaj called "Queen".

Nicki Minaj also known as Onika Tanya Marj is a Trinidadian-American rapper, singer, songwriter, model, and actress. She was born in Trinidad And Tobago but she was raised in Queens New York City. She gained recognition through her independent mixtapes which she released years ago 11 years ago such as "Playtime Is Over" which is first mixtape released in 2007. Her second mixtape "Sucka Free" released back in 2008. Her third mixtape "Beam Me Up Scotty" which was released in 2009. These 3 mixtapes gained her recognition. I am not a fan of Nicki Minaj. She's an artist I do not really pay attention to despite I think her music is boring if i'm being honest. They are a few good tracks that I like from her. Such as "Moment 4 Life", "Superbass", "Starships" these are the only tracks I like from Nicki. However they have been some tracks which I think is bad for example. "Stupid Hoe" has got to be one of the worst Nicki's songs. It's such a stupid music video and with stupid lyrics. Another track I do not like from Nicki is "Anaconda" a pointless stupid songs about big butts. Nicki Minaj is an artist that I do not care I do not think she's a good rapper if I am being honest. She's not in Queen Latifah or Lauryn Hill's level. I just think she's mediocre. Discussing about her discography she has released four studio albums. Her debut album "Pink Friday" which is a mediocre dull debut album. The only good tracks on her debut is "Moment 4 Life" featuring 'Drake'. "Right Thru Me". Her second album "Pink Friday Roman Reloaded" another shit album. The only good tracks on that album are "Champion", "Starships", "Come On A Cone" that's the only good tracks. Her third album "The Pinkprint" an even worse album. Which now brings us to her new album "Queen" 4 years later. After hearing this album what did I think of it? Oh Gosh this album is not that good it's just mediocre. I wouldn't say it's worst than "The Pinkprint" since "The Pinkprint" is worse. I just do not see the hype for this album. I just think Nicki isn't as good as she used to be. Despite I am not a fan of Cardi B I think she's slightly better than Nicki. This album is not that good too be honest. Just do not see the hype.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Barbie Dreams" I thought the track was decent. She roasted Drake and Young Thug. "Bed" which is featured 'Ariana Grande'. Probably one of the good tracks with decent collaboration. Their vocals on the chorus were alright it was decent. "Come See About Me" an underrated track on her album. Good production this is the more kind of music she should be making. My least favourite track is "Chun Swae" which features 'Swae Lee' the idiot from Rae sremurred who makes shit music. This is awful.

Overall I do not see the hype of this album. I would not listen to it again. I didnt really like it. I am giving it a 4/10.

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from The Internet which was released on the 20th July 2018. It's the fourth studio album by 'The Internet' called "Hive Mind".

The Internet are an American band from Los Angeles California which consists of five members 'Syd', 'Matt Martians', 'Patrick Paige II', 'Christopher Smith', and 'Steve Lacy'. They were formed in 2011 by Oddfuture members 'Syd' and 'Matt Martians'. along with touring members 'Christopher Smith' and 'Tay Walker'. The Internet are signed with Columbia Records. Their genre are R&B, Funk, Electronica, Hip Hop and many more. I like their style of music it's really interesting. Despite I do not listen to them that much I think they are a good band with an interesting discography. I just love that they are a Funk, R&B band. Which I think we need more Funk bands in this current moment in the music industry. The band has released several of EPs and of course studio albums. Discussing about their studio albums they have released four studio albums. Let's go through one by one. Their debut album "Purple Naked Ladies" which was released back in 2011 which is solid debut album it's not that bad. I thought their debut album was alright. The album features collaborations from 'Tay Walker', 'Kilo Kish' and many more. Their second studio album "Feel Good" which is my favourite from them. A strong second album which delivers more Electronica funky to it. The album features collaborations from 'Mac Miller', 'Yuna', 'Tay Walker', 'Jesse Boykins III' and many more. Their third album "Ego Death" which is a decent album which had some great colloaboration from 'Janelle Monae', 'Vic Mensa', 'Kaytranada' 'Tyler The Creator'. It was more of an R&B album. Which now brings us to their new album "Hive Mind". After hearing their new album what did I think of it? Another great album from the band. It's great seeing them back. I am just loving the funk vibes on this album. It's a great album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Come Together" I love Syd's vocals on this track. Great funky bass on this track. "Come Over" another great funky track. Loving Syd's vocals and the bass on this one. It's well produced. "La Di Da" I love the intro. It's a wicked track quite catchy and groovy. "Mood" a smooth R&B track with great bassline loving it. "Next Time/Humble Pie" It's a decent track with decent lyrics. Syd's vocals were alright on this track. "Look What U Started" it's a track with interesting production and drums on this track. It's the kind of production we hear on some radios. It's another great one. "Beat Goes On" my number 1 favourite I think it's the best track on the album I just love how's its repetitive it's groovy. My least favourite track is "Stay The Night" I'm not saying it's bad track it's still an alright track.

Overall I am pleased that 'The Internet' are back it's great seeing them back. I loved this album I thought it was a great album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Big Narstie BDL Bipolar Album Review

Big Narstie BDL Bipolar Album Review
Rating: 3/10
Favourite Tracks: Love Is A Game, Celebrate
Least Favourite Track: Hello Hi 2
Image result for bdl bipolar

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album by Big Narstie. Which was released last month on the 6th July 2018. It's the debut album by Big Narstie called "BDL Bipolar".

Big Narstie also known as Tyrone Lindo is a rapper from Brixton South London. He's a rapper and MC. He began his career in 2002 as a member of the Grime crew 'N-Double-A'. He is better known for his solo work as an Internet personality. Discussing more about his career. In 2006  he was signed to independent label 'Dice Recordings'. His track "Brushman" was named RWD magazine Song Of The Year sampling 'Coldplay'. Which was the first grime, indie to be supported by multiple mainstream radio stations. Big Narstie has also featured on records including Professor Green and N-Dubz. I first discovered Big Narstie  when he collaborated with Craig David with the track "When The Bassline Drops" which was a brilliant track of Garage being back to the mainstream. Big Narstie recently did a Channel 4 show with Mo Gilligan called "The Big Narstie Show" I thought it was hilarious and they were some great guests on his show such as David Schwimmer, Thandie Newton, David Haye, and many more. Discussing about his projects he has released mixtapes, and EPs. Discussing about his debut album "BDL Bipolar" after hearing his debut album what did I think of it? This album is really bad. It's an album where I do not see the hype. I can't believe this album was nominated for Album Of The Year for the Rated Awards which I hope it does not win. I would like to see Nines or Jorja Smith win Album Of The Year at the Rated Awards since they are much better albums than Big Narstie's debut. But overall this debut album from Big Narstie is not good at all. He really is desperate to get into the mainstream world. I do not see the hype. Most critics say that this album is not good. His mixtapes were much better.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album which are only two tracks. Starting with "Love Is A Game" which features 'Chu' I liked 'Chu's' vocals on this track even though I do not know her I think she is a new artist. Production is decent. Narstie's flows are decent on this track. The production reminded me of Chase & Status when they produce Drum & Bass. The other track which is my favourite is "Celebrate" which features 'Teedot' and 'Tizzy' it's not that bad it's alright. My least favourite track is "Hello Hi 2" which features 'Ed Sheeran' This track is hilarious the way Narstie says hello it sounds like an accent from Downtown Abbey. It's not really that good. This track is pointless.

Overall this album is not good at all. It's really not interested only few tracks were good. I would not listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 3/10.

On this review I will be reviewing the new David Byrne album which was released on the 9th March 2018. It's the eleventh studio album by 'David Byrne' called "American Utopia".

David Byrne is a Scottish-American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, artist, writer, actor, and filmmaker. He was the founding member of the American New Wave band 'Talking Heads' which were formed in 1975 and split up from 1991. 'Talking Heads' have released great albums such as the masterpiece and my favourite Talking Heads album "Remain In Light". Other albums they have released such as "Speaking In Tongues", "Fear Of Music", "True Stories", "Little Creatures" and many more. David was the lead vocalist and guitar player from 'Talking Heads'. Mr Byrne has recieved several awards like an Academy Award, Grammy, and Golden Globe. He has also been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. I have heard of David Byrne's solo work but I do not listen to it that much. I do not listen to 'Talking Heads' that much but I sometimes listen to them but not often. He famously known as well for working with 'Brian Eno' one of the greatest producers of all time. David Byrne is an important figure to 70s 80s music which includes Rock, New Wave, Art Pop. Discussing about his discography he has released eleven studio albums. It has been 14 years since he released a solo album. His last solo album was in 2004 called "Grown Backwards". During that time he has released collaborative albums with Brian Eno, Norman Cook also known as Fatboy Slim, and St. Vincent. Discussing about his new album "American Utopia" after hearing his new album what did I think of it? I just want to say welcome back David Byrne after 14 years since he released his solo album. I thought it was a good album a really interesting project. It's great seeing David Byrne back.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Gasoline And Dirty Sheets" quite an 80s indie pop track catchy production and alright lyrics I like it. "Every Day Is A Miracle" kind of this pop and it sound a bit like reggae tropical track. Which is alright. "This Is That" it's a decent track with decent lyrics and production. "It's Not Dark Up Here" which is a great track quite catchy I like it. Interesting lyrics and production as well. I like the part when David says Heyyy. "Doing The Right Thing" which is my number one favourite defintley his best track on the album. Good vocals, lyrics production. "Everybody's Coming To My House" which is an alright track it's not that bad. My least favourite track was "I Dance Like This" which I found a bit weird if I am being honest.

Overall it's great to see that David is back after 14 years since his last solo studio album. It's a good album. I would listen to it again. It's a 7/10.

Least Favourite Track: Hunned Bandz

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album by 'Tanukichan' which was released on the 13th July 2018 last month. It's the debut album from 'Tanukichan' called "Sundays".

Tanukichan also known as Hannah Van Loon is an alternative indie artist who I do not know that well. I first discovered Tanukichan from bandcamp. Bandcamp is a site where it's like Soundcloud and Myspace but it's a site to make money through promoting your album. Bandcamp is where fans can stream and buy the album. Since growing up she was making classical music. And she was playing the violin, keyboard, bass, and guitar. Hannah experimented bluegrass and jazz together. Unexpectedly she fell into making pop music with a band from San Francisco called "Trails And Ways". She went on tour and performed with them for four years. After that she decided to focus on being solo and making her own music again. She was then introduced by a mutual friend. Chaz Bear of 'Toro Y Moi' and 'Les Sins'. Chaz helped Hannah to rework most of her songs to take her into a new direction. She has released an EP called "Radiolove" back in 2016. Which I have not heard since I just discovered her. She has released her full length debut album which is quite a short album. After hearing her debut album what did I think of it? I liked it I thought it was a good album. She's a great artist with a beautiful voice.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album  starting with "Lazy Love" great intro to the track which sounds a bit like 'Young Fathers' it's a solid track. "Like The Sun" which reminds me of 80s smooth rock ballad it's a great track. "Bitter Medicine" I love the guitar intro from the start it kinds sounds like The xx first album back in 2009. "The Blue Sky" I love the build up of this track I thought it was alright it's like a track from the 80s. "Sundays" a solid track with great production and beautiful vocals from Tanukichan also known as Hannah. My least favourite track was "Hunned Bandz" it's like this aggressive rock which I am not to keen on but it's alright.

Overall it's a good album. It's great discovering new artists. I defintley recommend checking her music out since she's a new artist. I would listen to the album again. I am giving this album a 7/10.

Least Favourite Track: My Enemy

On this review I will be reviewing the new Chvrches album "Love Is Dead" which was released on the 25th May 2018. It's the third studio album by Chvrches called "Love Is Dead".

Chvrches are a Scottish synth-pop band formed back in 2011. Which consists of a trio. "Iain Cook" who is the synthesizer and guitar player. "Martin Doherty" synthesizer player and backing vocalist. And "Lauren Mayberry" the lead vocals, drums, percussion. I first discovered 'Chvrches' back in 2013 from BBC Radio 1 where they played one of the tracks from their debut album "The Bones Of What You Believe". The track that they played was called "The Mother We Share". When I heard that track I was amazed with Lauren's vocals it was really good. The production was amazing it was truly a new sound of synth pop. When I Had FIFA 14 at the time one of their tracks from their debut album was on FIFA 14. The track was called "We Sink". Which I thought was a decent track it wasn't that bad. I much preferred "The Mother We Share". Chvrches was signed to an independent label "Glassnote Records". They released their EP "Recover EP" through with that label. After that they were signed to 'Virgin Records' where they released their three studio albums. Discussing about their discography they have released three studio albums. Their debut album "The Bones Of What You Believe" which is an amazing debut album. I really liked their debut album it was the album that me discover more about the band. Brilliant tracks such as "The Mother We Share", "We Sink", "Under The Tide", "Night Sky", "Tether" and many more. Their second album "Every Open Eye" which most 'Chvrches' fans would say that their second album is their best one. I agree it's another great album. The first two album are really good. 2 brilliant albums. Great tracks such as "Leave A Trace", "Make Them Gold", "Clearest Blue", "Empty Threat" and many more. Which now brings us to their new album 3 years later they release their new album "Love Is Dead". After hearing "Love Is Dead" what did I think of it? Well I thought it was an okay album I dont love it that much like the first two but it's alright. I much prefer the first two. It's alright.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Get Up" it was the track I heard on the radio as their new single before the album was released. I thought it was an alright track interesting sounds on this track. Interesting synthesizers as well. "Forever" a decent track Lauren's vocals were alright. "Graves" which is my personal favourite my number 1 favourite. I love this track it's really an indie pop, indie rock anthem. Lauren's vocals were amazing. "God's Plan" which we hear Martin on vocals which was an interesting sounds it's a decent track. "Really Gone" a smooth down tempo track with Lauren's vocals. Probably the underrated track on the album. "Wonderland" amazing track an amazing end to the album great track. My least favourite track was "My Enemy" which is alright it's not the best but it's alright and a bit average.

Overall I can say that this new 'Chvrches' album is alright. It's okay. I do not love it like the first two albums but it's alright. I am giving this album a 6/10.

Bazzi - Cosmic album cover.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album by 'Bazzi' which was released on the 12th April 2018. It's the debut album by 'Bazzi' called "Cosmic".

Bazzi also known as Andrew Bazzi is an American singer songwriter. Who gained attention from his song "Mine" which is featured on this album. It gained popularity in early 2018 it became an internet meme through the use of Snapchat lens filter song. Which I think the song is alright quite catchy and sparkling. He's a new artist which is new to the music scene. In 2012 he began posting covers on Youtube. In 2014 he moved from Michigan to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. Bazzi created a vine account in July 2013 where he began to be a vine figure by reaching 1.5 million followers on the site. He became the first artist to release a vine featured track which was entitled "Bring Me Home". Bazzi's music influences are Justin Timberlake, Bryson Tiller, Duran Duran, and Guns N Roses. In October 2017 he released the popular single "Mine". The track increased popularity and became an internet meme. Discussing about his debut album after hearing his debut album "Cosmic" what did I think of it? Well I thought his vocals on the album were decent but it's just the lack of production that caused this album to be average.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album "Honest" a decent track production is not bad it could have been better but it's alright. "Gone" another decent track not that bad production could have been better. "Mine" it's a good track bit catchy and repetitive but it's not that bad. My least favourite track is "Dreams" annoying production which did not go well with the vocals.

Overall this album was average I am giving this album a 5/10.

Christina Aguilera - Liberation (Official Album Cover).png

On this review I will be reviewing the new Christina Aguilera album which was released two months ago on the 15th June 2018. It's the eighth studio album by Christina Aguilera called "Liberation".

Christina Aguilera is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality from New York.  She is signed with RCA Records. Christina has earned two number one albums on the US Bilboard 200 with her self-titled album back in 1999 and her fifth studio album "Back To Basics" released back in 2006. I am not a big fan of Christina but I like two songs from her "Aint No Other Man", and "Beautiful". She has been recognised as a pop icon she earned the title as the pop princess in the 2000s. She has earned 5 Grammy Awards, 1 Latin Grammy Award and a star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Throughout her career she has sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide. I have never listened to Christina's albums since I have heard her songs being played on the radio. Even though I have heard of Christina Aguilera since she was the pop princess back in 2000s when she dominated the charts and being played on commercial radios. This was my first time listening to a full studio album from Christina. Discussing about her discography she has released eight studio albums. She has released albums such as her self-titled album, "Stripped", "Back To Basics", "Bionic" and many more. After hearing her new album "Liberation" what did I think of it? Well I thought some of the tracks were good I liked how Anderson. Paak produced a few tracks on the album. It was good seeing 'Goldlink' featured on the album. I just think this album is over the place. I think it's average. We have this smooth pop then reggae and then bit of trap rap. I just think this album is average.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album "Sick Of Sittin" which was produced by Anderson. Paak. I love how Anderson  was included as backing vocals. The track is decent. "Like I Do" featuring 'Goldlink' I like his rapping flows on this track. Christina's vocals were decent on this track. "Twice" underrated track on the album she should defintley be making more tracks like this one. "Unless It's With You" a good track a decent production with decent vocals. My least favourite track "Right Moves" which is this kind of Reggae Pop track which I dont think goes well.

Overall I thought this album was average. I would not listen to it again. It's a 5/10.

"We've Come So Far" which is track about how far Tom has reached in his carrer. Amazing track and an amazing way to end the album. There is no least favourite track. All of the tracks were amazing.

He is best known for his song "Coming Home" released back in 2015 it recieved a lot of airplay it was also a top 10 most viral track on Spotify. Leon played countless open mics until he was signed by Columbia Records in December 2014. As a Leon Bridges fan I really like his style of music it's awesome. Leon released two demo tracks on Soundcloud in late 2014. "Coming Home" was one of the tracks that was constantly being played by local radio stations including 'KXT'. It attracted loads of records labels that were interested in signing him at the time. Eventually Columbia Records signed him. Leon began his first national tour back in January 2015 where he played shows in Texas he was a supported act for 'Sharon Van Etten' in New York City. His debut studio album "Coming Home" released back in 2015. I thought it was an amazing album a strong debut album. "Georgia To Texas" a fantastic smooth jazz track. My least favourite track is "Bet Ain't Worth The Hand" I would say this track is not bad it's alright just not my favourite.

Rick Astley Beautiful Life Album Review

Rick Astley Beautiful Life Album Review
Rating: 6/10
Favourite Tracks: Beautiful Life, She Makes Me, Last Night On Earth, I Need The Light, The Good Old Days
Least Favourite Track: Chance To Dance

On this review I will be reviewing the new Rick Astley album which was released this month on the 13th July 2018. It's the eighth studio album by 'Rick Astley' called "Beautiful Life".

Rick Astley also known as Richard Paul Astley is an English singer, songwriter, and radio personality. Who works on Magic FM. His 1987 song "Never Gonna Give You Up" was number 1 across 25 countries it also won a 1988 Brit Award for Best British Single. He retired back in 1993 where he was 27 at the time he retired because he wanted to spend more time with his family. 8 years later he was 31 and made a comeback to the music industry he started releasing music again. I first discovered Rick back when I was in primary school where I heard the track "Never Gonna Give You Up" it's such a great track that makes me want to dance. It's catchy it's groovy and it's a wicked track. It's the rickrolled. Rick Astley will always be a legend no matter what he will always be a popular figure to 80s music. I am not a huge fan of Rick but I would say that I am a fan. Even though I listen to his music sometimes not all the time. Rick has released albums such as "50", "Keep It Turned On", "Whenever You Need Somebody", "Portrait" and many more. After hearing his new album "Beautiful Life" what did I think of it? I thought this album was okay it's alright I much preferred his 2016 album "50" but Overall Rick delievers a quality pop album with alright tracks.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Beautiful Life" which I thought was a great track when I heard this on BBC Radio 2 I was amazed on how Rick is still talented to this day. "She Makes Me" which I thought was a decent track quite groovy and poppy. "Last Night On Earth" I like this acoustic guitar track which I think was alright. "I Need The Light" I would say it's the underrated track on the album. Such a brilliant track with Rick's brilliant vocals. I love the backing vocals on this track. "The Good Old Days" I love the bong sounds on the start of the track I thought it was very interesting to include it on the track. The piano melody is decent. Rick's vocals were alright. My least favourite track on the album is "Chance To Dance" It kind of reminds me of George Ezra. The sounds on this track is bit annoying sounds bit like a dog barking. But the track is not that bad.

Overall I thought this was an alright album a little bit average. I much prefer his 2016 album "50". I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 6/10.

Saara Aalto Wild Wild Wonderland Album Review

Saara Aalto Wild Wild Wonderland Album Review
Rating: 3/10
Favourite Tracks: Dance!!!, Dance Like Nobody's Watching, Sirens
Least Favourite Track: My Touch
Saara aalto wild wild wonderland.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the debut international album by Saara Aalto which was released on the 27th April 2018. It's the major label international debut studio album by 'Saara Aalto' called "Wild Wild Wonderland".

Saara Aalto is a singer from Finland who is also a song writer and a voice actress. She participated in singing competitions such as The Voice in Finland where she finished second in the first series back in 2012. She participated in The X Factor UK back in 2016. Saara has also taken part in musicals she was also the voice of Princess Anna in the Finnish version of Disney's animated movie 'Frozen'. She has also dueted with 'Adam Lambert'.  Aalto grew up in a musical family and recieved piano lessons from pianist 'Olga Maslak' who is Ukrainian. After several of times being able to participate Finland she finally represented Finland this year in the Eurovision Song Contest. I first discovered Saara back in 2016 where she participated in The X Factor UK. I was mind blown by her performance cover of Sia "Chandelier" which earned her 3 yeses from the judges. During the X Factor she was my favourite to win from day 1. I was mind blown where she did the Bjork cover of  "It's Oh So Quiet" which I really enjoyed. Discussing more about her discography she has previously released albums which some of them are Finish. She was signed to Warner Music to release an international debut album. "Wild Wild Wonderland". After hearing this album what did I think of it? I was very disappointed it's this kind of pop electronic album of annoying EDM sounds. She is capable of making good music instead of being a pop mainstream artist. She has a really beautiful talented voice. It's a shame I did not like this album that much. I would say her other albums that are in Finnish are much better.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Dance!!!" this track is decent her vocals are decent on this track. The production is not that bad "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" which I think is her best track on the album with beautiful piano sounds. Her vocals are fantastic on this track. This is the kind of music she should be making more not this boring cheap dull pop diva mainstream. "Sirens" Another great track which I thought this is more of the kind of songs she should be releasing. She has a beautiful voice she is talented but it's a shame that she wants to step in into the pop mainstream world. My least favourite track is "My Touch" I thought this track was awful it's not produced well her vocals are decent but production caused the problem for this track.

Overall I am very disappointed with this album. Saara should be doing so much better. I would not listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 3/10.

"So Help Me God" a good track which I thought was good I like how the track changes at the end. "Such Is Life" Fantastic synthesizer sounds and piano as well great flows from Phonte. "Sweet You" Amazing production love the clapping part in the intro. Great flows. "Find That Love Again" featuring Eric Roberson It's kind of the 90s old school Hip Hop vibe Im loving it. My least favourite track on the album is "Expensive Genes" It's alright I guess not that bad.

Overall I thought this was a great Hip Hop album absolutely amazing. Defintley makes it to my Top 20 Best albums of 2018 list in December. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.
