God's Favorite Customer.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new Father John Misty album which was released on the 1st June 2018. 3 months ago. It's the fourth studio album by Father John Misty called "God's Favourite Customer".

Father John Misty also known as Josh Tillman is a singer, songwriter from Rockville Maryland. Who I have been fan of for quite some time. Since his 2015 album was released "I Love You, Honeybear" I became a fan of his music. It's my favourite Father John Misty album. "I Love, You Honeybear" is a masterpiece of an album such a brilliant album. Josh Tillman is also known as a former member of 'Fleet Foxes'. Discussing more about his career he moved to Seattle when he was 21 where he got a job working as a bakery. Which allowed him to record at night before his early morning shift 4:30 am. He eventually made a demo which found it's way to Seattle singer, songwriter 'Damien Jurado'. A year later he was the opening act for Jurado. In 2012 he released his debut album "Fear Fun" under his new moniker "Father John Misty" he has released albums with other names like "J. Tillman". He is widely more known as 'Father John Misty' and more widely known as the drummer for the 'Fleet Foxes'. Discussing about his discography he has released four studio albums. His debut album "Fear Fun" which is a great debut album. I liked his debut it's a strong Indie Folk, Indie Rock album. His second studio album "I Love You, Honeybear" My favourite Father John Misty album I love it. His third album "Pure Comedy" which is an amazing album it was in my Top 20 Best albums Of 2017 list. "Pure Comedy" is my second favourite Father John Misty album. A year later he releases his fourth studio album "God's Favourite Customer". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? I thought it was a good album. It's a good album but I much prefer "Pure Comedy".

Let's go through track by track on the album on what I thought of every tracks. The opening track "Hangout At The Gallows" which I thought was a great opening track to the album. His vocals really does sound a young Elton John. I love the guitars on this track.  The next track "Mr  Tillman" I thought it was this kind of mid 80s rock vibe which I thought was alright. I love the whistling part on the track. The next track "Just Dumb Enough To Try" it's decent it really does remind of Elton John. The fourth track "Date Night" which is my least favourite I think it's the weakest on the album. "Please Don't Die" which I thought one of the strongest tracks on the album. "The Palace" I love the piano melody on this track it's really calmful. "Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest Of Them All" It's a decent track. "God's Favourite Customer" another decent track which I thought was alright. "The Songwriter" quite a sad piano melody quite a smooth low track. "We're Only People (And There's Not Much Anyone Can Do About That)" it's decent I quite like the drums on this track his lyrics are interesting. My favourite tracks overall are "Hangout At The Gallows", "Mr. Tillman", "Please Don't Die", "The Palace", and "Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest Of Them All". My least favourite is "Date Night".

Overall I liked this new Father John Misty album but I much prefer "Pure Comedy". I would listen to it again. I am giving the album a 7/10.

Least Favourite Track: Stretch

On this review I will be reviewing the new Proclaimers album which was released on 10th August last month. It's their eleventh studio album by 'The Proclaimers' called "Angry Cyclist".

The Proclaimers are a Scottish folk, rock duo of two twin identical brothers 'Charlie Reid', and 'Craig Reid'. They are best known for their hit "I'm Gonna Be(500 Miles)", "Sunshine On Leith", "I'm On My Way", and "Letter From America". Their singing style with a strong Scottish accent. The pair came to public when an Inverness based fan sent their demo to an English band called "The Housemartins" who liked them and invited 'The Proclaimers' on their UK tour. They appeared on a Channel 4 music show called 'The Tube'. I am not a big fan of them I only like two of their songs "Im Gonna Be (500 Miles)" and "I'm On My Way" From the 80s/90s they have released good songs. The Proclaimers first US television debut was on the David Letterman show where they performed "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)". Discussing about their discography they have released eleven studio albums. I have only heard few of their albums not all of them. They have released albums like "This Is The Story", "Sunshine On Leith" which is one of the albums I have heard. I thought it was a good album defintley their best album. "Hit The Highway" another one of the albums I have heard from them I think it's okay it's not better than "Sunshine On Leith". They have released other albums like "Persevere", "Like Comedy" and many more. 3 years later they are back with their eleventh studio album "Angry Cyclist". After hearing "Angry Cyclist" what did I think of it? Im just not to keen on this album if I'm being honest. I just think it's bland it kind of sounds the same if i'm being honest. I just think it's bland and uninteresting. But the track "Streets Of Edinburgh" is defintley the best track on the album. But this album is just bland. Their previous albums from late 80s/90s are much better.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Streets Of Edinburgh" which I thought was a brilliant track on the album. Fantastic track good lyrics great guitars. "You Make Me Happy" which is a decent produced track it's not that bad. And "Information" Which is a mediocre track not a strong track but it's still one of my favourites. My least favourite track "Stretch" I just think it's bland boring this track.

Overall the album was a disappointment. It was a let down. I do not see myself listening to this album again. I am giving the album a 4/10.

On this review I will be reviewing Morrissey's fourth studio album "Vauxhall And I".

Morrissey aka Steven Patrick Morrissey aka Moz. is a singer, songwriter. Who everybody should know him as the lead singer of 'The Smiths'. For those that may not know I am not a huge Morrissey fan but I do like 'The Smiths'. The Smiths have released good songs like "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", "What Difference Does It Make" (My personal favourite), "This Charming Man", "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One" (My 2nd favourite) And many more. I have never really listened much to Morrissey's discography but I have heard and reviewed his classic debut album 'Viva Hate'. I thought it was a good album since it was my first time listening to it. Majority of the fans regard 'Viva Hate' as his best album. However I heard his recent album released last year "Low In High School" which I thought was a mediocre album. I wasn't too keen on it. The album recieved a lot of negative reviews. It was not Morrissey's best album. Discussing about his fourth album that I heard "Vauxhall And I". I thought it was a good album. But however I much prefer his classic debut album "Viva Hate". From his debut album I like the tracks such as "Suedehead", "Everyday Is Like Sunday", "Late Night, Maudlin Street". The track "Margaret On The Guillotine" which was about during the time where Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister. It was about Margaret being on a guillotine since she recieved a lot of hate during her time as Prime Minister. Discussing more about "Vauxhall And I" I guess it's a great alternative rock album. But I would say 'Viva Hate' is better in my opinion.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Now My Heart Is Full" I thought it was a great track I love how the track starts it kind of has that 80s rock vibe. "Hold On To Your Friends" quite an interesting track I would say it's my personal favourite on the album it's well produced. I love the guitars on this track. "The Lazy Sunbathers" I like the guitars on this track. Very interesting lyrics on this track it's okay I guess. My least favourite track is "Billy Budd" it's not a bad track just not my favourite on the album but it's still a decent track.

Overall I thought this was a good Morrissey album but I prefer his debut album. 8/10.

Gabrielle Under My Skin Cover.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Gabrielle' which was released last month on the 17th August 2018. It's the comeback album it's the sixth studio album by 'Gabrielle' called "Under My Skin".

Gabrielle is an English singer, songwriter who I have been a fan of since her 1993 single "Dreams". I am so glad that she is back after 11 years since her last album was released. Wow I can't believe it's been that long. I am so happy she is back. The first album I ever bought from Gabrielle was "Rise" her third studio album which is my favourite 'Gabrielle' album. Gabrielle is a talented singer which defined the early 90s music. It's really an exciting year to see her back making music. Gabrielle has won several awards such as 2 Brit Awards for Best British Breakthrough and Best British Female. She has also won an Ivor Novello for Outstanding Song Collection. She truly deserved to win those awards. She is a great artist who has been making music since the 90s. It's just fantastic to see 'Gabrielle' back. She's really talented she has a beautiful voice. Discussing more about Gabrielle in 1993 she released her debut single "Dreams". The single reached number 1 in the UK chart which was number for 3 weeks. In the Bilboard Hot 100 it entered at number 26 and at number one on the Bilboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Discussing about her discography she has released six studio albums. Her debut album "Find Your Way" a fantastic R&B album. A strong R&B debut album I love it. Her second studio album "Gabrielle" which is self-titled. another great album it was more Pop and R&B together. Her third album "Rise" my favourite 'Gabrielle' album such a great album defintley her best album. So many great singles on that album "Sunshine", "When A Woman", "Rise" and many more. Her fourth album "Play To Win" it's an alright album not my favourite album but it's alright. Her fifth studio album "Always" which is a good album quite an underrated album in my opinion. Which now brings us to her new album "Under My Skin" 11 years later I can't believe it's been this long. After hearing her new album what did I think of it? I am amazed how she came back after 11 years. It's a fantastic beautiful album. She still sounds the same it's just great she still makes music. She delivers a beautiful smooth R&B album on this one.

My favourite tracks on the album are starting with "Under My Skin", a beautiful smooth voice that Gabrielle delivers on this track. "Show Me" beautiful vocals I am glad it was released as a single it's so beautiful. "Every Step" defintley her underrated track on the album. Her vocals are so beautiful makes you want to relax. "Stronger" defintley my overall favourite on the album it's really good I love the backing vocals on this track. "Put Up A Fight" quite has this rock pop vibe which I think is a decent track. "Breathe" Another underrated track such a beautiful track. My least favourite track is "Young And Crazy" not to keen on this track but it's not that bad just not my favourite.

Overall a brilliant comeback. It's great to see Gabrielle back.Great album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Paul McCartney the legend himself famously known as the singer from 'The Beatles'. Who has had a great career in over 6 decades. Paul is defintley one of the greatest songwriters of all time. McCartney is one of the most successful composers and performers of all time. Paul has won 18 Grammys. McCartney is one of the most wealthiest musicians in the world with an estimated net of 1.2 billion. Discussing more about Paul McCartney I am a Paul McCartney I think he has released some great solo studio albums. My favourite studio albums from Paul are "Tug Of War", "Flaming Pie", "Memory Almost Full", "McCartney II" and many more. My favourite Beatles album is "Abbey Road". From the 'Wings' I have never really listened much to 'Paul McCartney & Wings" but I like the song "Band On The Run". Discussing more about Paul's career at the age of 15 Paul met John Lennon from his band 'The Quarrymen'. 'The Quarrymen' played a mix of Rock N Roll, and Skiffle. Skiffle which is a music genre of Jazz And Blues. McCartney joined 'The Quarrymen' to play as a rhythm guitarist and he formed a close working relationship with John Lennon. Discussing about The Beatles they are one of best bands of the 60s. The Beatles will always be a fantastic band. The Beatles have released so many great albums like "Abbey Road", "Please Please Me", "With The Beatles", "A Hard Day Night", "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and many more. Discussing about his solo albums he has released 18 studio albums he has released albums like "McCartney", "Ram", "McCartney II", "Tug Of War", "Pipes Of Peace", "Give My Regards To Broad Street", "Flaming Pie", "New" and many more. Which now brings us to his new album "Egypt Station". His 18th studio album. After hearing "Egypt Station" what do I think of it? I thought it was an okay album. It's not that bad. Paul still has it. He delivers a good piano ballad and a bit of country album. It's an okay album. Despite I wouldn't say it's his best album but it's slightly better than his 2013 album "New".

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "I Don't Know" which I thought was a fantastic track I really love Paul's guitar on that track such an amazing track. "Come On To Me" which is an amazing track it's like the 70s over again. Defintely a strong track on the album it's freaking amazing. I love the part where Paul says 'Yes I Will Yes I Will Yes I Will Now". "People Want Peace" which I thought was a smooth piano ballad song I liked the violins on the track. "Back In Brazil" defintley the best track on the album. It's such an amazing track I love the Bossa Nova vibes on this track. "Hunt You Down/Naked/C-Link" It kind of reminds me of a track by 'War called "Low Rider". it sounds decent. My least favourite track is "Fuh You" which I thought was a disappointing and weird track.

Overall I thought this album was okay it's decent. I would listen to it again. I am giving the album a 6/10.

David Guetta 7 Album Review

David Guetta - 7 (album cover).jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new David Guetta album which was released yesterday on the 14th September 2018. It's the seventh studio album by David Guetta called "7".

David Guetta is a French DJ, Producer, and Remixer who used to be good back in the early 2000s now he became shit. He became shit from 2011 and is still shit to this day. I seriously do not know WHAT THE FUCK! happened to this guy. As you know I am not a fan of David Guetta I think his music is awful. I was a fan of his music when he first started. Now this idiot is getting worser and worser. Like seriously David Guetta is not that good anymore. I think he needs to retire he will not make great music like he did from 2002. He is among the first DJS. to get into the EDM Scene he is known as the Grandfather of EDM. David Guetta began as a DJ at the Broad Club in Paris. He first played popular songs and he discovered house music when he heard a Farley Jackmaster Funk track on the radio. In 2001 he founded 'Gum Productions' along with Joachim Garraud. Discussing about his discography. He has released seven studio albums. His debut album "Just A Little More Love" it's his good album. Defintley one of his best albums. Great tracks like "Just A Little More Love", "Love Don't Let Me Go", "Give Me Something (Deep In My Heart)", "Atomic Food", "133". His second studio album "Guetta Blaster" another good album from Guetta. Great tracks like "Money", "Stay", "Time", "In Love With Myself", "Movement Girl", "Get Up", "Last Train". His third album "Pop Life" which I think is an average album. Some decent tracks such as "Delirious", "Winner Of The Game", "Do Something Love", "Joan Of Arc". His fourth studio album "One Love" the last Guetta album. The last good Guetta album that he ever made. The tracks that I liked are "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin Over", "Memories", "Choose", "How Soon Is Now", "One Love". His fifth studio album "Nothing But The Beat" he goes full pop on this album. It's an awful album. Very boring album he goes full mainstream on "Nothing But The Beat". His sixth studio album "Listen" another boring album. Really boring with boring EDM Sounds. Which now brings us to his new album "7". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? So basically it's a double album. CD 1 is the boring mainstream shit. and CD 2 has some decent techno, house, trance production. I think CD 2 is much better than CD 1. CD 2 is much better. I liked how in CD 2 he goes back to his House roots. I wish he still make great music like he did from 2002. Overall it's a bad album. It would have been better if it wasn't squeaky EDM sounds.

My favourite tracks on the album which are two tracks are "Overtone" which I thought was a strong Guetta track. A great house track. "Orion" a great deep house track. Good production defintley one of his strongest tracks on this album. My least favourite tracks are "Don't Leave Me Alone" featuring Anne Marie. Gosh this production is FUCKING AWFUL. Squeaky shitty EDM sounds. Anne's vocals does not go well little bit annoying. "Say My Name" featuring J Balvin & Bebe Rexha. Why the fuck is 'Reggaeton' still a thing for fuck sake. It's a shit song. "Goodbye" which features 'Jason Derulo', Nicki Minaj, Willy William. boring track. Auto tuned Nicki Minaj. Nicki sounds retarded on this track. "Like I Do" which features Martin Garrix & Brooks. Boring track I do not know why Martin Garrix was featured. "2U" which features Justin Bieber a Fucking terrible track with Bieber's shitty vocals. "Motto" which is autotuned with rappers like Lil Uzi Vert which is awful. "Light Headed" which features Sia very annoying track Sia vocals is annoying on this track.

Overall I thought this album was bad. but CD 2 was better than CD 1. I would not listen to it again. I am giving this album a 2/10.

Eminem Kamikaze Album Review

Eminem Kamikaze Album Review
Rating: 5/10
Favourite Tracks: The Ringer, Kamikaze, Good Guy
Least Favourite Track: Fall
A painting of the rear end of a jet with graffiti about Eminem on it. It is very similar to the artwork of the debut album of Beastie Boys, Licensed to Ill.

On this review I will be reviewing the new Eminem album which was released on the 31st August 2018. It's the tenth studio album by Slim Shady himself called "Kamikaze".

Eminem aka Marshall Mathers is a rapper from Detroit. Which everybody knows who he is. He has been in the scene since the 90s. Back in the early 2000s he was dominating the charts with fantastic flows with tracks such as "Without Me", "Stan", "We Made You", "Like Toy Soliders", "Mockingbird" and many more. Now the time has come where he is not that good as he used to be. He has completely changed he's not the same person anymore. I grew up with his music. I do not really listen to him that much. Back in primary school I used to listen to him a lot. But now I do not listen to him that much. However I listen to a few songs like "Lose Yourself", "Without Me", "My Name Is", "Stan" and many more. I feel that Eminem is at the stage now where nobody cares about him anymore. He's at the stage where he's not the same as he was back in the 2000s. I personally think Eminem career is finished. He cannot make another great album like seriously he should just retire. His last good album was "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" released 5 years ago back in 2013 which is a much better album than 'Revival' and 'Kamikaze'. Discussing about his discography he has released 10 studio albums. His debut album "Infinite" which most Eminem fans would probably not care much about his debut album. It was the start of his carrer. Not my favourite album but they are some tracks that I think are underrated. His second studio album " The Slim Shady LP" I would say it's my favourite Eminem album defintley better than "Infinite". His third studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP" Nearly every Eminem fans would say it's their favourite. It's defintley a classic and a great album. His fourth studio album "The Eminem Show" Another great album from Slim Shady. His fifth studio album "Encore" not my favourite but some tracks were decent. It's probably his weakest. His sixth studio album "Relapse" one of my favourites I would say it's underrated in my opinion. His seventh studio album "Recovery" did not really like this album that much some of the tracks were average it was too mainstream. His eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" A brilliant album Eminem came back delivered a solid album with fantastic flows. His ninth studio album "Revival" which is his worst album it was too mainstream. However they were only few tracks I liked from 'Revival'. Which now a year later he surprised everybody with a surprise album "Kamikaze" What did I think of it? It's slightly better than 'Revival'. I liked how he dissed Mumble Rappers. I am not a fan of Mumble Rappers. I dont think Mumble Rap is real rap. Some tracks were alright. But I did not like how he dissed Tyler The Creator. This album is just average.

Moving on to my favourite tracks starting with "The Ringer" which is a decent track I liked how he dissed Mumble Rappers like 'Lil Pump' and ' Lil Yachty'. "Kamikaze" he proper dissed Drake which I thought it was hilarious since Drake is not releasing not that many good albums anymore. His flows were really good on this track. "Good Guy" featuring Jessie Reyez. I love Jessie's vocals on the track they work well together. My least favourite track is "Fall" I did not like how he dissed Tyler The Creator just because Tyler did not like one of his tracks from last year.

Overall it's average and disappointing. It's better than Revival. I would not listen to it again. It's a 5/10.

Her debut album "Lush" which was released as an independent album which was self-released. Her second album "Retired From Sad, New Career In Business" her second album which was also self-released. Her third album "Bury Me At Makeout Creek" which was released in her first record label 'Double Double Whammy'. Which is the first album I heard from Mitski I have not heard her first two. It's a decent third album. Her fourth studio album "Puberty 2" another good album it's okay. Which now brings us to her new album "Be The Cowboy" after hearing her new album what did I think of it? Well I thought it was another good album from Mitski she does not disappoint. She delivers an interesting smooth Indie Pop with relaxed piano elements. She reminds me of Lana Del Rey but more Indie Pop.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Geyser" I really like this indie rock track she delivers it very well with her beautiful vocals. "Old Friend" a decent track great production, beautiful smooth indie pop vocals that makes you want to relax. "Me And My Husband" I really love the guitar and piano on this track it's catchy probably my second favourite overall. "Nobody" my overall favourite on the album defintley her strong track on the album. "A Horse Named Cold Air" one of the short tracks on the album which I liked lyrics interesting. "Two Slow Dancers" beautiful track beautiful piano melodys really beautiful. My least favourite track is "Pink In The Night" it's a decent track but not my favourite.

Overall I thought it was a good album. Mitski delivers another good album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 7/10.
