On this review I will be reviewing the debut studio album by 'Tom Misch' which was released on the 6th April 2018. It's the debut studio album by 'Tom Misch' called "Geography".

Tom Misch is a South London producer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from East Dulwich, South London. He is a Jazz Hip Hop artist. I first discovered Tom last year where he was featured in 'Loyle Carner's' debut album "Yesterday's Gone" the track is called "Damselfly" which I thought was a fantastic track. I loved Loyle's rap flows on the track and Tom's singing on the track. It made me want to discover more about 'Tom Misch'. I am huge fan of both 'Loyle Carner' and 'Tom Misch'. They are the future of music. I also liked another track with both artists featured on it called "Crazy Dream".  Another great track which I thought both done very well. Tom and Loyle are truly one of the best artists to come out from South London. I am proud that I am from South London and that we have great artists like Tom and Loyle. Tom has released EPs such as "5 Day Mischon", and "Out To Sea". He has also released music tapes as well such as "Beat Tape 1", and "Beat Tape 2". Discussing about his studio album he has released one studio album "Geography" after hearing his debut album what did I think of it? This is the best album of 2018. I loved this album so much. It's such an amazing album. It's jazzy groovy and funky. This album should have been nominated for this year Mercury Prize I would have loved if this album was nominated for a Mercury Prize. It's an amazing album. I love how Tom plays the bass it's amazing he's such a brilliant bass player. I think for me it's the best album of 2018 so far. I just love the Jazz, Hip Hop elements on this album. I love how produces Hip Hop beats along with Jazz on this album. It's such an amazing album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Lost In Paris" which is a fantastic track I love the backing vocals part when they say your lost in Paris. The rapping is alright on this track. The saxophone part is amazing. Tom's bass and vocals are amazing on this track. "South Of The River" I love the violin intro on this track. Such an amazing track with great vocals from Tom. "Movie" this track is a smooth jazz track I like it. "Tick Tock" A great instrumental track I love the buildup and changes in the middle of the track. "It Runs Through Me" a brilliant track it's such an amazing track I love the rapping on this track. It's such a brilliant track. "Disco Yes" a great groovy disco track great vocals from Tom and Poppy. The bass is amazing. "Water Baby" which is featured two great South London artists Loyle Carner and of course Tom Misch. The two great artists come back again and deliever a fantastic track well produced. Loyle's rap flows were awesome. And Tom's vocals was also awesome. "You're On My Mind" Quite a smooth tempo track. Tom delivers great bass on this great track. "We've Come So Far" which is track about how far Tom has reached in his carrer. Amazing track and an amazing way to end the album. There is no least favourite track. All of the tracks were amazing.

Overall I loved this album. It's such a fantastic album I enjoyed it. I would definitely  listen to it again. It's the best album of 2018 so far. I am giving this album a 10/10.

Least Favourite Track: Bet Ain't Worth The Hand

On this review I will be reviewing the new album by 'Leon Bridges' which was released on the 4th May 2018 two months ago. It's the second studio album by 'Leon Bridges' called "Good Thing".

Leon Bridges also known as 'Todd Michael Bridges' is an R&B, Gospel singer, songwriter and a record producer from Fort Worth, Texas. He is best known for his song "Coming Home" released back in 2015 it recieved a lot of airplay it was also a top 10 most viral track on Spotify. Leon played countless open mics until he was signed by Columbia Records in December 2014. As a Leon Bridges fan I really like his style of music it's awesome. Leon released two demo tracks on Soundcloud in late 2014. "Coming Home" was one of the tracks that was constantly being played by local radio stations including 'KXT'. It attracted loads of records labels that were interested in signing him at the time. Eventually Columbia Records signed him. Leon began his first national tour back in January 2015 where he played shows in Texas he was a supported act for 'Sharon Van Etten' in New York City. His debut studio album "Coming Home" released back in 2015. I thought it was an amazing album a strong debut album. It was nominated for Best R&B album in the Grammys back in 2016. 3 years later Leon is back with a brand new album "Good Thing". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? Well I thought it was another good album it's alright I much prefer his debut album "Coming Home". It's still a good album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Bad Bad News" I love how the production is jazzy. I am loving the jazz elements on this brilliant track. I love Leon's vocals on this track. "Shy" another brilliant track Leon's vocals definitely goes well with the production. "Beyond" an underrated track on the album I think it's a pretty good track his vocals are really good on this track. "If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be)" it kind of reminds me of a bit of Bruno Mars. It remind me a bit of one of Bruno's tracks from "24k Magic". "You Don't Know" I love this track probably my overall favourite on the album It sounds like the 70s it's so discoy and groovy and funky. "Georgia To Texas" a fantastic smooth jazz track. My least favourite track is "Bet Ain't Worth The Hand" I would say this track is not bad it's alright just not my favourite.

Overall I thought this was a good album I much preferred his debut album "Coming Home". I would listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 7/10.

Rick Astley Beautiful Life Album Review

Rick Astley Beautiful Life Album Review
Rating: 6/10
Favourite Tracks: Beautiful Life, She Makes Me, Last Night On Earth, I Need The Light, The Good Old Days
Least Favourite Track: Chance To Dance

On this review I will be reviewing the new Rick Astley album which was released this month on the 13th July 2018. It's the eighth studio album by 'Rick Astley' called "Beautiful Life".

Rick Astley also known as Richard Paul Astley is an English singer, songwriter, and radio personality. Who works on Magic FM. His 1987 song "Never Gonna Give You Up" was number 1 across 25 countries it also won a 1988 Brit Award for Best British Single. He retired back in 1993 where he was 27 at the time he retired because he wanted to spend more time with his family. 8 years later he was 31 and made a comeback to the music industry he started releasing music again. I first discovered Rick back when I was in primary school where I heard the track "Never Gonna Give You Up" it's such a great track that makes me want to dance. It's catchy it's groovy and it's a wicked track. It's the rickrolled. Rick Astley will always be a legend no matter what he will always be a popular figure to 80s music. I am not a huge fan of Rick but I would say that I am a fan. Even though I listen to his music sometimes not all the time. Rick has released albums such as "50", "Keep It Turned On", "Whenever You Need Somebody", "Portrait" and many more. After hearing his new album "Beautiful Life" what did I think of it? I thought this album was okay it's alright I much preferred his 2016 album "50" but Overall Rick delievers a quality pop album with alright tracks.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Beautiful Life" which I thought was a great track when I heard this on BBC Radio 2 I was amazed on how Rick is still talented to this day. "She Makes Me" which I thought was a decent track quite groovy and poppy. "Last Night On Earth" I like this acoustic guitar track which I think was alright. "I Need The Light" I would say it's the underrated track on the album. Such a brilliant track with Rick's brilliant vocals. I love the backing vocals on this track. "The Good Old Days" I love the bong sounds on the start of the track I thought it was very interesting to include it on the track. The piano melody is decent. Rick's vocals were alright. My least favourite track on the album is "Chance To Dance" It kind of reminds me of George Ezra. The sounds on this track is bit annoying sounds bit like a dog barking. But the track is not that bad.

Overall I thought this was an alright album a little bit average. I much prefer his 2016 album "50". I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 6/10.

Saara Aalto Wild Wild Wonderland Album Review

Saara Aalto Wild Wild Wonderland Album Review
Rating: 3/10
Favourite Tracks: Dance!!!, Dance Like Nobody's Watching, Sirens
Least Favourite Track: My Touch
Saara aalto wild wild wonderland.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the debut international album by Saara Aalto which was released on the 27th April 2018. It's the major label international debut studio album by 'Saara Aalto' called "Wild Wild Wonderland".

Saara Aalto is a singer from Finland who is also a song writer and a voice actress. She participated in singing competitions such as The Voice in Finland where she finished second in the first series back in 2012. She participated in The X Factor UK back in 2016. Saara has also taken part in musicals she was also the voice of Princess Anna in the Finnish version of Disney's animated movie 'Frozen'. She has also dueted with 'Adam Lambert'.  Aalto grew up in a musical family and recieved piano lessons from pianist 'Olga Maslak' who is Ukrainian. After several of times being able to participate Finland she finally represented Finland this year in the Eurovision Song Contest. I first discovered Saara back in 2016 where she participated in The X Factor UK. I was mind blown by her performance cover of Sia "Chandelier" which earned her 3 yeses from the judges. During the X Factor she was my favourite to win from day 1. I was mind blown where she did the Bjork cover of  "It's Oh So Quiet" which I really enjoyed. Discussing more about her discography she has previously released albums which some of them are Finish. She was signed to Warner Music to release an international debut album. "Wild Wild Wonderland". After hearing this album what did I think of it? I was very disappointed it's this kind of pop electronic album of annoying EDM sounds. She is capable of making good music instead of being a pop mainstream artist. She has a really beautiful talented voice. It's a shame I did not like this album that much. I would say her other albums that are in Finnish are much better.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Dance!!!" this track is decent her vocals are decent on this track. The production is not that bad "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" which I think is her best track on the album with beautiful piano sounds. Her vocals are fantastic on this track. This is the kind of music she should be making more not this boring cheap dull pop diva mainstream. "Sirens" Another great track which I thought this is more of the kind of songs she should be releasing. She has a beautiful voice she is talented but it's a shame that she wants to step in into the pop mainstream world. My least favourite track is "My Touch" I thought this track was awful it's not produced well her vocals are decent but production caused the problem for this track.

Overall I am very disappointed with this album. Saara should be doing so much better. I would not listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 3/10.

Least Favourite Track: Expensive Genes
Image result for phonte no news is good news songs

On this review I will be reviewing the new 'Phonte' album which was released on the 2nd March 2018 4 months ago. It's the second studio album by 'Phonte' called "No News Is Good News'.

Phonte also known as 'Phonte Lyshod Coleman' is an American rapper formerly known in the Hip Hop group 'Little Brother' and one half of the duo 'The Foreign Exchange'. Phonte is from Greensboro, North Carolina. He's more of a Hip Hop and Contemporary R&B artist. Phonte has appeared on numerous records by other artists but he is often as a vocalist on some other artists work. He made an appearance on the track "Beats N Rhymes" from the producer 'Kev Brown's' album. Back in 2006 he was featured on DJ Shadow's album "The Outsider". Discussing more about the Hip Hop Group that he was back in the day 'Little Brother'. Phonte met the other members of 'Little Brother which they are called 'Rapper Big Pooh' and '9th Wonder'. They only released four studio albums at the time which I think they are an underrated Hip Hop group. They are an Alternative Hip Hop group. Discussing more about 'The Foreign Exchange' Phonte met the Dutch producer 'Nicolay' they were formed back in 2002. They are a R&B, Hip Hop, Electronica duo. They only released five studio albums. Discussing more about 'Phonte' discography he has released two studio albums. His debut studio album 'Charity Starts At Home' which I thought was a great album with collaboration featuring 'Sy Smith', 'Jeanne Jolly', 'Big K.R.I.T.' and many more. 7 years later he is back with a new album "No News Is Good News". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? I thought this was a great album I enjoyed it. Finally real Hip Hop is here in 2018. This is so much better than Mumble rap.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "To The Rescue" Great verses Phonte goes personal on this track. I liked the production on this track. "So Help Me God" a good track which I thought was good I like how the track changes at the end. "Pastor Tigallo" the production reminds me from an NBA 2K game it's a well produced track I love the female vocals on this track. "Such Is Life" Fantastic synthesizer sounds and piano as well great flows from Phonte. "Sweet You" Amazing production love the clapping part in the intro. Great flows. "Find That Love Again" featuring Eric Roberson It's kind of the 90s old school Hip Hop vibe Im loving it. My least favourite track on the album is "Expensive Genes" It's alright I guess not that bad.

Overall I thought this was a great Hip Hop album absolutely amazing. Defintley makes it to my Top 20 Best albums of 2018 list in December. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Florence And The Machine High As Hope Album Review

Florence And The Machine High As Hope Album Review
Rating: 7/10
Favourite Tracks: Hunger, Sky Full Of Song, Grace, The End Of Love
Least Favourite Track: Patricia

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Florence And The Machine' which was released on the 29th June 2018. It's the fourth studio album by 'Florence And The Machine' called "High As Hope".

Florence And The Machine are an English indie rock band which were formed back in 2007. The members are 'Florence Welch' who is the lead vocals and percussion. 'Isabella Summers' who is the backing vocals and she is the keyboard player and synthesizer player. 'Robert Ackroyd' the lead guitar player and many more. I have been a fan of 'Florence And The Machine' for quite some time now. I first discovered them back in 2009 with the chart single "You Got The Love" which I thought was an amazing track at the time and I still love it to this day. It was number 5 in the first week of the UK Top 40 Chart. I heard that track back in primary and I just loved it. It made me want to discover more about them. Back in primary school I also heard their other single "Dog Days Are Over" which is an alright track. I literally became a fan of 'Florence And The Machine' I am just fascinated by 'Florence's' voice. Discussing more about their discography they have released four studio albums. Their debut album 'Lungs' Which I thought was a good album I enjoyed their debut quite a lot. Her successful song 'You Got The Love' is on that album. Her second studio album "Ceremonials" which is not really my favourite 'Florence And The Machine' album but I would say it's my least favourite. It's not that bad but there was one track that I did not like "Shake It Out" I kind find that track bit to repetitive. Her third studio album "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful" which is my favourite 'Florence And The Machine album. I think it's their best album. It was nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2015 just like their debut album "Lungs" which was nominated in 2009. Which now brings us to her new album "High As Hope". After hearing the new album what did I think of it? First of I would like to congratulate 'Florence And The Machine' as they have been nominated for another Mercury Prize they have been nominated for this album "High As Hope". As I checked this is one of the bookies favourites to win the prize. In my opinion I think this is a good album I wouldn't say it's better than her 2015 album "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful" which I think her 2015 album is so much better. But I think it's a good album a pretty good Indie Pop album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Hunger" I like this track it's this calm Indie Rock track. "Sky Full Of Song" this track kind of reminds me of some Irish Pop music probably because of the smoothing guitar sounds. "Grace" beautiful underrated track with beautiful vocals and beautiful piano melodys. "The End Of Love" defintley another underrated track on the album I would have liked if this track was being played on the radio. My least favourite track is "Patricia" It's not a bad track it's just not my favourite.

Overall I thought this was a good album not really her best album but it's good. I would come back to it. I am giving this album a 7/10.

Nines Crop Circle Album Review

Nines Crop Circle Album Review
Rating: 8/10
Favourite Tracks: Pictures In A Frame, Rubber Bands, Eagles, Haze, Tony Soprano, Venting, Re-Up, Cash Interlude
Least Favourite Track: Make It Up 2 U

On this review I will be reviewing the new 'Nines' album which was released on the 20th April 2018. It's the second studio album from 'Nines' called "Crop Circle".

Nines also known as Courtney Freckleton is an English rapper hailing from Harlesden, north west London. He is also known as 'Nina With The Nina' it like his nickname. I discovered 'Nines' last year when he blew up with his debut album "One Foot Out" which I thought was a decent album. He started making music in 2012. He dropped his first Mixtape in late 2012 "From Church Road To Hollywood" which is his earlier mixtapes. I have only heard a few of his Mixtapes. I thought some of his mixtapes were decent for example I liked his second mixtape "Gone Till November" I thought it was a great mixtape with some good bangers. He is an active member of the rap collective "CRS/ICB/CSB" (Church Road Soldiers/Ice City Boyz/Crime Scene Boyz) alongside with his crew 'Likkle T", "Skrapz", "Fatz", "Keyz", "Trapstar Toxic", "Streetz Inch", "Supa", "Fundz" and many more.  Discussing more about his discography he has released two albums. His debut album "One Foot Out" which I thought was a decent debut album with good bangers. Such as "High Roller" featuring 'J Hus', "Nervous", "Hoes" featuring 'Tiggas Da Author' and many more. His debut album "One Foot Out" is an example of what British Hip Hop should definitely sound like. It's a strong debut album. Which now bring us to his new album after a year since "One Foot Out" was released. After hearing his new album "Crop Circle" what did I think of it? Another great album I enjoyed it. 'Nines' delivers a great rap album. Great bangers such as "Pictures In A Frame", "Eagles", "Haze", "Tony Soprano" and many more. I like his flows on the entire album.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Pictures In A Frame" His flows were awesome on this track. Great flows on this track. "Rubber Bands" featuring 'Ray BLK', and 'Skrapz' great track great collaboration from one of his friends 'Skrapz' and the amazing talented 'Ray BLK'. "Eagles" featuring 'Fundz'. Their flows are too good on this track. Production is decent. "Haze" this one is defintley a banger. Great track great flows. They both do very well on this track. "Tony Soprano" his flows are too good it's one of the strongest tracks on the album. "Venting" featuring 'Dave' Dave does well on this track so as 'Nines' as well it's a decent track. "Re-Up" featuring 'Trapstar Toxic' this track is decent good collaboration. "Cash Interlude" which is the last track on the album I liked his flows on this one it's too dope. My least favourite track was "Make It Up 2 U" which features 'Haile Wstrn' the track does really stand out like the others. It's not that bad.

Overall I loved this album I thought it was a good album. It's an example of great British Hip Hop. I would listen to the album again. I am giving this album an 8/10 defintley a contender for my Top 20 Best Albums Of 2018.

Years & Years Palo Santo Album Review

Years & Years Palo Santo Album Review
Rating: 5/10
Favourite Tracks: Sanctify, Karma, Hypnotised, Here
Least Favourite Track: If You're Over Me

On this review I will be reviewing the new album by the pop group 'Years & Years'. The album was released on the 6th July 2018 this month. It's the second studio album by 'Years & Years' called "Palo Santo".

Years & Years are an English synth-pop, pop group from London. Which consists of 3 members 'Olly Alexander', 'Mikey Goldsworthy', 'Emre Turkmen'. 'Years & Years' started back in 2010 which they were formed in that year. They became successful in 2015 from their chart single "King" which I thought was one of the best songs of 2015. Other tracks such as "Desire", "Shine", "Eyes Shut" were these tracks that also helped them to become successful in 2015. I do not listen to this group that much but I like their debut album "Communion" released back in 2015. This group is more of a pop, synth pop group which also has some elements of indie pop, dance pop. Most music reviewers say that this group is one of the best pop dance group right now. I wouldn't say they are the best but I think they are a decent group. Discussing more about their discography they have released two studio albums. Their debut studio album "Communion" which was an album that I enjoyed listening to it had all the dance pop singles such as "King", "Desire", "Shine", "Eyes Shut". It's a good with elements of dance pop and a bit of garage. Olly's vocals on the first album "Communion" are decent he has some decent lyrics. "Communion" is a good dance pop album. Which now brings us to their new album "Palo Santo" after hearing their new album what did I think of it? I just think this album is average. It's not a bad album but there were some tracks that were decent. There were few that were good. But they were some that were not that great. I just think this album is average and dull if I am being honest. The tracks "Hypnotised", and "Here" are two of the tracks that stand out on the album. Two of the best tracks. I was expecting 'Years & Years' to make an entire album just like those two tracks. If it sounded like "Hypnotised", and "Here" then the album would have been good. This album was more of mainstream dance pop. It's just average and dull.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Sanctify" It's a good track I like the drumming part on this track. It was the first single to be released which I thought was a great choice for a first single it's a good track I like the lyrics on "Sanctify". "Karma" I love how the intro starts. Great synthesizer sounds that makes you want to dance. I feel like this should be their next single to be released. "Hypnotised" one of the strongest tracks on the entire album. I feel like if Years & Years continued to making tracks like this to put on the entire album then the album would have been good. It's great track this should be the track that they should release as a single. "Here" this was a short track for the last track on the album. I would have love it to be a bit longer. Again as I was saying this is another great track which should have been longer. My least favourite track "If You're Over Me" which is the track that was doing well on the chart. This track is awful it's this cheap boring dance pop track with mediocre lyrics.

Overall I would say this album is average. It's just dull and boring dance pop album. Their debut album is much better. I would not listen to this album again. I am giving this album a 5/10.

Kat Edmonson Old Fashioned Gal Album Review

Kat Edmonson Old Fashioned Gal Album Review
Rating: 7/10
Favourite Tracks: Sparkle And Shine, A Voice, If, Old Fashioned Gal,
Least Favourite Track: I'd Be A Fool

On this review I will be reviewing the new Kat Edmonson album which was released on the 25th April 2018. It's the fourth studio album from 'Kat Edmonson' called "Old Fashioned Gal".

Kat Edmonson is an American singer, songwriter from Houston Texas. Who calls her music 'Vintage Pop'. She is more of a Jazz pop artist. Kat grew up with her mother who enjoys traditional pop from the 40s, 50s. Kat auditioned for the second season of American Idol back in 2002 she was one of the 48 contestants invited to Hollywood. Kat began writing her first song when she was 9 while riding the bus to school. In 2002 after a year in Charleston college in South Carolina she moved to Austin to pursue a music career. This is my first time discovering Kat Edmonson I have never listened to her music before. But since listening to Kat I feel like traditional pop from the 40s, 50s is making a comeback to 2018. Her voice is soothing it's beautiful. Traditional jazz pop is a genre that I do not listen to but it's really interesting how Kat is bringing that type of music back to a new generation. Discussing about Kat's discography she has released four studio albums "Take To The Sky" her debut album released back in 2009. Her second album "Way Down Low" was released back in 2012. Her third studio album "The Big Picture" was released back in 2014. Which brings us now to her new album "Old Fashioned Gal" I have not listen to her first three albums so I do not have much to say. But I listened to her new album. Since hearing "Old Fashioned Gal" what did I think of it? I was impressed that this type of music is here in 2018. I thought it was a good album I definitely need to check out her other albums. It's a good album it's a relaxing pop album. It's exactly how traditional pop sounded like back in the 40s, 50s.

Moving on my favourite tracks starting with "Sparkle And Shine" I was mind blown on how amazing this track sounds. Great opener to the album. "A Voice" a fantastic track with great lyrics it's jazzy. "If" a brilliant track her voice is so soothing. "Old Fashioned Gal" a catchy track which I liked. My least favourite track was "I'd Be A Fool" it's okay I guess not the strong as the others.

Overall I liked this album. It was traditional pop being back into a new generation. I would listen to this album again if I feel like it. I am giving this album a 7/10.

Favourite Tracks: Hot Pink, It's Not Just Me, Snakes & Ladders, I Will Be Waiting, Ava, Donnie Darko
Least Favourite Track: The Cat's Pyjamas
Image result for i'm all ears let's eat grandma

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from the duo 'Let's Eat Grandma'. released on the 29th June 2018. It's the second album from 'Lets Eat Grandma' called "I'm All Ears".

Let's Eat Grandma are a British duo formed back in 2013  by childhood friends 'Rosa Walton', and 'Jenny Hollingworth'. They are an Art Pop duo from Norwich. They were both raised in Norwich. They first met in reception back in primary school. They met when they were 4 years old. They began making music when they were 13. Making music was like a playtime activity for them. Implying that they spent their time during their break making music. They became members of the local Norwich music scene before they caught their attention of another musician 'Kiran Leonard' who helped them to pass their music to their manager who later became their future manager. Discussing about their discography they have released two albums. Their debut album "I Gemini" which is a decent album even though I just discovered them recently. An interesting debut album with Art Pop, Avant Pop, and Experimental Pop together. "Deep Six Textbook" which is one of the tracks from their debut album. It was one of the tracks that they wrote when they were young. Another track is "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms" which is another one of their tracks that they wrote at the time when they were young. Two good tracks I reckon it's a decent debut album. Which brings us now to their new album "I'm All Ears". After hearing this album what did I think of it? I thought this album was great it was a fantastic album I liked this album. It's definitely one of the best albums of 2018. I would not be surprise if this album was nominated for the Mercury Prize which hopefully it will be nominated. It's a great album I enjoyed it. I prefer their new album to their debut.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "Hot Pink" which is produced by 'Sophie' famously known for her bubble gum pop production. It's a good track fantastic production from Sophie. Great lyrics. "It's Not Just Me" their vocals really do blend well together. Production is great. "Snakes & Ladders" it's this art pop which I thought was interesting I liked it. "I Will Be Waiting" I like the guitar riffs on this track it's a chillout track I love the sparkling part at the end of track. "Ava" my number 1 favourite on the album. Amazing track very beautiful. Very beautiful piano melody their vocals are really beautiful on this track. "Donnie Darko" it's an instrumental and vocal track interesting track even though it's long but I love how it changes in the middle of the track. My least favourite track "The Cat's Pyjamas" which was a short track about a cat very weird but interesting instrumental on the track.

Overall I enjoyed this album. I liked it. Very beautiful album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.

Marshmello Joytime II Album Review

Marshmello Joytime II Album Review
Rating: 2/10
Favourite Track: Power, Imagine
Least Favourite Tracks: Together, Rooftops, Flashbacks

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Marshmello' which was released on the 22nd June 2018. It's the second studio album by 'Marshmello' called "Joytime II".

Marshmello also known as Christopher Comstock is an American electronic dance music producer and a DJ. He first gained recognition by remixing tracks by 'Jack U', and 'Zedd'. I am not a fan of 'Marshmello' but he is a good remixer. In 2015 Marshmello posted his first original song "Wavez" on his Soundcloud. Which is this trap track that I found interesting despite his production is repetitive. It's definitely a good track. He began to receive support DJs such as 'Skrillex'. Discussing about his discography Marshmello has released two studio albums in my opinion two boring albums with repetitive production. His debut album "Joytime" was a tropical house with loops being repetitive in some of the tracks. "Joytime" is a boring album. Which brings us to his new album "Joytime II". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? Oh gosh this album is fucking awful like seriously it's such an awful album. The EDM production is really shit. This album is just your typical EDM on what it sounds like today. This album is bad it's one of the worst albums of 2018.

My favourite tracks on the album which are two tracks starting with "Power" I thought this track was not that bad even though it's the penultimate track on the album. And I think the last two tracks on the album are the good ones. "Imagine" a decent track I guess not that bad. My least favourite tracks which is 3 least favourites. "Together" boring track with boring production. "Rooftops" dull vocals shit production. "Flashbacks" awful track with shit production.

Overall this album was bad. It's one of the worst albums of 2018. I would not listen to it again. I am giving this album a 2/10.

Drake Scorpion Album Review

Drake Scorpion Album Review
Rating: 4/10
Favourite Tracks: God's Plan, Talk Up, Nice For What, Ratchet Happy Birthday
Least Favourite Track: I'm Upset
Scorpion by Drake.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from 'Drake' which was released on the 29th June. 3 weeks ago. It's the fifth studio album by 'Drake' called "Scorpion".

This is the new album by Drake. Drake is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and entrepreneur. He gained recognition as an actor from the teen drama television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" back in the early 2000s. He signed to 'Lil Wayne' record label "Young Money Entertainment" back in 2009. After becoming inspired by 'Jay Z', and 'Clipse'. He released his first official mixtape back in 2006 "Room For Improvement" which sold 6,000 copies. In 2007 he released his second mixtape "Comeback Season". Discussing more about 'Drake' I am a fan despite I am not a massive Drake fan like the others. I think he's an alright rapper. However he has been disappointing me over the last two years since his fourth studio album "Views" was released. I did not like that album but I liked a few tracks such as "Hotline Bling", "Controlla", "Too Good", "Faithful" and "Fire & Desire".  It's drake's worst album. He was becoming more mainstream on this album. It was like a pop rap album. On the other hand he has a few good albums and two great albums. The two great albums which I think is his best work are "Take Care", and "Nothing Was The Same"(My personal favourite). Discussing more about his discography on studio albums let's go through the list shall we. His debut album "Thank Me Later" released back in 2010 which was the first album that I discovered Drake whilst I was in primary school. It's a strong debut album blending Hip Hop, R&B together. Favourite tracks on his debut album are "Fireworks" featuring 'Alicia Keys' "Over", "Light Up" featuring 'Jay Z", "Find Your Love", and "Thank Me Now".  His sophomore (second) studio album "Take Care" which some majority of the fans would say it's his best album. It's my second favourite Drake album. Hip Hop, Dance, R&B blends well on his second album. It's definitely one of the strongest albums in his discography. My favourite tracks from "Take Care" are "Headlines", "Crew Love" featuring 'The Weeknd', "Take Care" featuring 'Rihanna'. "Marvin's Room", and "Doing It Wrong". His third album "Nothing Was The Same" my favourite Drake album. A strong album from his discography. This album was more Hip Hop. My favourite tracks on drake's third album are "Tuscan Feather", "Furthest Thing", "Started From The Bottom", "Wu-Tang Forever", "Hold On, We're Going Home" featuring 'Majid Jordan'. "Too Much" featuring 'Sampha'. "Pound Cake" featuring 'Jay Z'. His fourth studio album "Views" was not even a good album it's his worst. Which brings us to his new album "Scorpion" after hearing this album what did I think of it? It's a long double album I just feel like it's another disappointment but however there were few tracks that were decent that I liked. The first part on the album is much better than the second part of the double album. It's just a boring Drake album. He will never make another great album like "Take Care and "Nothing Was The Same". I am disappointing with Drake I feel like he could do so much better. "Scorpion" is not even a good album it's dull.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "God's Plan" I really love the music video of "God's Plan" it was an emotional video. I really liked his flows on this track it's cool it's catchy. "Talk Up" featuring 'Jay Z' excellent production great collaboration with the legend himself Shawn Carter aka 'Jay Z'. Great flows from both rappers. "Nice For What" his flows were alright on this track. I love the backing vocalists on this track. Production is not that bad. "Ratchet Happy Birthday" it's a decent track I like the piano melody on this track. My least favourite track "I'm Upset" which I thought was awful. He is trying to be like a trap rapper on this track. The production does not go well with Drake's flows.

Overall I thought this album was a disappointment. It's not a good album it's just dull and boring. I would not listen to "Scorpion" by 'Drake' again. He just cannot make another great album like "Take Care" and "Nothing Was The Same". I am giving this album a 4/10.

Sophie Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides Album Review

Sophie Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides Album Review
Rating: 6/10
Favourite Tracks: It's Okay To Cry, Ponyboy, Faceshopping, Immaterial
Least Favourite Track: Is It Cold In The Water?

On this review I will be reviewing the debut album from 'Sophie' which was released on the 15th June  2018. It's the debut album from 'Sophie' called "Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides".

Sophie also known as 'Sophie Xeon' is a Scottish singer, songwriter, record producer and disc jockey from Los Angeles California. She is known for her synthesised take on pop music. She is known for her singles "Bipp", "Lemonade". She has produced for artists like Madonna, Charli XCX, Vince  Staples, Let's Eat Grandma, and Namie Amuro. In 2013 she released her debut single "Nothing More To Say"along with "Bipp", "Elle". In 2015 she released a compilation album "Product" which was a short compilation album of all of the tracks she recorded from 2013-2015. I feel like at that time that she should have already released her debut album. But the good thing is that she finally has this year with "Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides". After hearing this album what did I think of it? At first I thought the album was weird with weird bubble gum pop production. I thought it was bit weird very unusual production. It sounded aggressive. But on the other hand I thought this album was okay I can understand that some fans praise this album due to it's creativity. Her vocals are interesting and weird on some tracks.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album starting with "It's Okay" I thought this track was okay. The production is not that bad I love her repetitive lyrics "It's Okay To Cry". "Ponyboy" this is an aggressive bubblegum pop track I love how she changes her voice on this track it really does go well. "Faceshopping" Another aggressive bubblegum pop track. The production is wicked. I like her lyrics. "Immaterial" which is this summer tropical electronic vibe it's decent. My least favourite track "Is It Cold In the Water" Not the strongest track on the album. Production is not the best but its a mediocre track.

Overall I thought this was a decent album. I would listen to it again. It's a 6/10 for me.

Least Favourite Track: Pretty Shining People
Staying at Tamara's (album).png

On this review I will be reviewing the new album from George Ezra released on the 23rd March this year. It's the second studio album from 'George Ezra' called "Staying At Tamara's".

George Ezra is an English singer, songwriter from Hertfordshire. Who I have been a fan since he released his debut successful single "Budapest" from his first album "Wanted On Voyage". The track "Budapest" dominated the charts in the UK, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and many more. It became 3X Platinum track sales for the track "Budapest". Some would say that "Budapest" was an annoying repetitive track being played on the radio. I quite liked the track it made me want to discover more about 'George'. In which I am glad I did. George's influences are Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie. Discussing more about  George  he performed his first Glastonbury in 2013 in the BBC Introducing stage for new artists. In 2013 he released his debut EP "Did You Hear The Rain" which includes the track "Budapest" on the EP which is also featured on his debut album "Wanted On Voyage". He has been a supported acts on tours with 'Bastille', 'Lianne La Havas', 'Sam Smith', and 'Tom Odell'. Discussing about his discography he has released two albums. His debut album "Wanted On Voyage" which I thought was an amazing debut album. An amazing Folk Rock, Americana, blues album. It has fantastic tracks such as "Blame It On Me", "Budapest", "Cassy O", "Barcelona", "Listen To The Man", "Over The Creek" and many more. It's a fantastic debut album which I enjoyed a lot. Now comes to his second studio album "Staying At Tamara's" What did I think of it? I thought it was a decent album even though I prefer his debut album "Wanted On Voyage". It was great seeing him back with a new album since it has been 4 years.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Don't Matter Now" interesting production great folk vocals on this track. "Shotgun" this track was number on the official chart which I thought was a listenable track with great vocals and great guitar riffs. "Paradise" it's a fun and an enjoyable track to listen to that done well in the charts. "All My Love" probably the underrated track on the album it's a calmful track. "Hold My Girl" a smooth folk track which is a folk ballad. It's a fantastic track which I think is also underrated. My least favourite track was "Pretty Shining People" I feel like it was not the best opener to the album but it still an okay track.

Overall I thought this album was okay it's decent. I prefer his debut album. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 6/10.

Morrissey Viva Hate Album Review

Favourite Tracks: Everyday Is Like Sunday, Late Night Maudlin Street, Suedehead, Break Up The Family, Treat Me Like A Human Being
Least Favourite Track: Alsatian Cousin
Morrissey-Viva Hate.jpg

On this review I will be reviewing an album released back in 1988. It's the debut studio album from 'Morrissey' called "Viva Hate".

Morrissey is an English singer, songwriter, and an author. He's known as the frontman for the Manchester band 'The Smiths' from 1982 to 1987. I am not a big fan of 'Morrissey' I have never really listened much to his solo albums. But I still listen to 'The Smiths' sometimes. During the time when he was in 'The Smiths' I like the tracks such as "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", "How Soon Is Now", "This Charming Man", "What Difference Does It Make?" (My personal favourite). The Smiths were a great band at the time. They are one of my favourites Manchester bands to come out from the Manchester scene along with 'Oasis', 'Everything Everything', '808 State'. Morrissey's genre is alternative rock, indie pop, indie rock. He has released albums such as "Vauxhall And I", "World Peace Is None Of Your Business", "Your Arsenal", "You Are The Quarry", "Low In High School" and many more. Discussing more about "Viva Hate" after hearing his debut album what did I think of it? This was my first time listening to his solo stuff. I have heard tracks from his solo stuff but not his full albums. It was my first time hearing his debut album. I thought it was a good album. I can understand why most fans would say that this album is one of his best. It's a classic Morrissey album. It's a great alternative rock album.

My favourite tracks on the album starting with "Everyday Is Like Sunday" which was the second single released from the album. This track is an alright track. I love this 80s rock kind of vibe to it. "Late Night, Maudlin Street" the production is alright. It's an interesting track. "Suedehead" the lead single from his debut album. This track was a bigger hit than any of his songs the time when he was in 'The Smiths'. I like the production on this track it's one of Morrissey classics. "Break Up The Family" I love the intro of the drums on this track I would say it's my personal favourite on the album. It's a great track. I like Morrissey's vocals on this one. It's well produced. "Treat Me Like A Human Being" the start of the track sounds like a folk country kind of vibe. But it's an alright track. My least favourite track is "Alsatian Cousin" It's not bad it's still an alright track maybe with few more listens I would like it. I like the echoing voices and the guitars on this track.

Overall it was my first time hearing Morrissey It's a good debut album. It's a classic. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album an 8/10.
