On this review I will be reviewing the new 'Popcaan' album which was released on the 20th July 2018. It's the second studio album by 'Popcaan' called "Forever".

Popcaan also known as 'Andrae Hugh Sutherland' is a Jamaican deejay, singer, songwriter from St. Thomas Parish. In 2007 when he was 19 he approached to 'Vybz Kartel' at a local jam called 'My Scheme' where Kartel recruited 'Popcaan' to his Portmore Empire (music group). He became a producer and a mentor. Popcaan started making music for Adidjaheim Productions with house producer NotNice. Popcaan breakthrough came in 2010 with "Clarks" a collaboration with Kartel. In 2011 Popcaan recieved the excellence in Music Entertainment. An award for best new artist and collaboration of the year for "Clarks" which also won Dancehall Song Of The Year. Popcaan has been featured artists like 'Vybz Kartel', 'Jamie xx', 'Gorillaz', 'Young Thug', 'Melissa Steel', 'AlunaGeorge' and many more. Discussing about 'Popcaan' discography he has released two studio albums. His debut album "Where We Come From" released back in 2014. I thought it was a great dancehall album. A strong dancehall debut. It recieved great praise from music critics. I thought his debut album was really good. Which now brings us to his new album "Forever". After hearing his new album what did I think of it? I thought it was an alright album. I thought it was decent it's a decent album. Despite I much prefer his debut album.

Moving on to my favourite tracks on the album "Call Me" which I thought was like the summer dancehall track of 2018. Loving the vibes on this track. "Wine For Me" Great track with great production and great lyrics. It's very catchy. "Foreign Love" this track is decent. "Deserve It All" it's kind of this pop reggae track which I thought was alright. "Through The Storm" more of an acoustic dancehall track which is really good. My least favourite track was "Superstar" it's alright not that bad.

Overall I thought this album was alright. I would listen to it again. I am giving this album a 6/10.
