Reggie N Bollie Uncommon Favours Album Review
Rating: 9/10
Favourite Tracks: Good Vibes, On The Floor, Going Down There, Toast N Party, Dreams, All The Way Up, That Thing
Least Favourite Track: Bumaye
On this review I will be reviewing an album which was released on the 15th December 2017. It is Reggie N Bollie's debut album called "Uncommon Favours".
Reggie N Bollie are a Ghanaian duo who were formed back in 2012. They were on 'X Factor' back in 2015 which they were the runners-up. In my opinion I think they should have won instead of 'Louisa Johnson'. 2015 final was a great final of the X factor. Both acts done really well to reach the final. After 'X Factor' "Reggie N Bollie" have been releasing songs such as "Link Up","New Girl", "Bumaye" and many more. When I found out that they were going to release an album this year. I felt really pleased and interested since it was about time we've had an 'Afro-beat' album for 2017. The last Afro-beat album that I listen to was 'Fuse ODG' debut album "T.I.N.A(This Is New Africa)". Which was a fantastic album and it was one of my favourite albums of 2014. Discussing more about 'Reggie N Bollie' album. I really enjoyed this album. The collaboration on this album were fantastic with artists such as. 'Che Chesterman', 'Beenie Man', "DJ Ironic", "Lauren Murray", "Wutah" and many more. I would definitely recommend to check out this album. It will make you dance with some great production to it.
My favourite tracks on this album were "Good Vibes", "On The Floor", "Going Down There", "Toast N Party", "Dreams", "All The Way Up", "That Thing". Starting of with "Good Vibes" which is featured with a singer called "Wiyaala". Such a fantastic song to get into the party vibe. "On The Floor" which is featured with the 'Dancehall' legend himself "Beenie Man". A decent track with elements of 'Dancehall', and 'Afrobeat'. "Going Down There" my second favourite track on the album quite good track with an okay production to it. "Toast N Party" which is featured with "Wutah" great track to party to. "Dreams" which is featured with the third place act from 'X Factor' back in 2015 "Che Chesterman" such a powerful underrated track. Definitely one of the strongest tracks on the album. "That Thing" is also a decent track. My least favourite track was a track called "Bumaye" which is a good track but I was not a fan of the production.
Overall I enjoyed this album. It was an album that made me want to party throughout the end of the album. I would definitely listen to it again. It's a 9/10
