On this review I will be reviewing an album which was released this year back in July on the 14th July 2017. It is Mura Masa debut album which is Self-titled.

Mura Masa also known as Alex Crossan is a electronic music producer, Song writer, Multi Instrumentalist. He is from the British channel islands in 'Guernsey'. He is one of those producers that makes music in  a bedroom. I first heard Mura Masa from a track which was featured with Charli Xcx called "1 Night". Which is fantastic song I loved the tropical house vibe to it. I really love Mura Masa production on all of the tracks on this album. There is something special about him which makes all the tracks sound so good. He is definitely one of my producers so far right now in the game. I felt really pleased seeing Mura Masa being nominated for a grammy for best dance/electronic album. I really hope he wins since he is the first artist from Guernsey to be nominated for a grammy. Since hearing this album what did I think of it? I really enjoyed this debut album it has a mixture of up beating house music to a bit of tropical. It also has a bit of trap to it. It's an album that definitely makes me want to listen to over and over again.

My favourite tracks on the album were "Messy Love", "Nuggets", "1 Night", "Firefly", "Second 2 None". Starting of with "Messy Love" such a great track I loved how the sounds that Mura Masa experiments with. "Nuggets" which is featured Bonzai. I thought the track was alright. Bonzai vocal's were really interested. I really like the part where she sings "I got I got nuggets". "1 Night" which is featured Charli Xcx. I enjoyed the chorus drop which has a steel pan sound. "Firefly" which is featured Nao. A fantastic talented R&B artist. I found the track decent. "Second 2 None" which is featured Christine and the Queens. Great song love Christine and the queens. One of the underrated songs on the album. My least favourite track was a track called "All Around The World" which is featured Dessigner the rapper. I find his rapping lame and shit he's annoying. I felt really shocked seeing that Mura Masa made a track with Dessigner which was going to be on the album.

Overall I liked this album it was good. I would listen to it again. I would give this album a 7/10.
